Was listening to FBG on radio yesterday (posted a little something on it in Vocal Masterclass thread) and one thing that struck me was how much "heavier" the sound is in this version. Much more rock... Interesting! I wonder why... Probably just the mix but seem to have a much brighter/stronger/heavier guitar in particular than the recorded version. I prefer the concert version...  |

Hmmm. Adam Lambert, not Queen +. Does this possibly mean he might have new music to push????? And why Shoshonna said no added concerts THIS YEAR? Not sure about her information because iHeart tweeted that the lineup announcement isn't until 7/23. iHeartRadio ✔ @iheartradioMusic’s biggest acts will share the stage at the #iHeartRadio Music Festival--hear the lineup announcement 7/23 9amET festival.iheart.comBut her other tweets.. Cattituude @cattituude Was in car, long list, Katy, Gaga, Miley, JT etc. Stopped listening then last 1, Adam! Didn't hear Q but not sure. Whaaat?! Cattituude @cattituude Listen... it was so unexpected, I hope it is this year... listen for radio ad! His name is last on long list! Katy, Miley, JT were all last year. Can't imagine them being there this year. I can however imagine Adam performing there for a new single! |

31. The ending to Somebody to Love!!! Holy shiiite, and the entire audience knows HOLY SHIIITE when they hear it. What a response!!!

32. Thought we had A New Song! when Adam started singing so beautifully at the beginning of I Want It All. Heart beat up significantly. O.M.G., O.M.G., Sublimely beautiful! But no...

33. Didn't notice this when I was at the concert but "I Want it All" seemed to start on a really high note and I think Adam forgot a few of the words. It looks like he was biting his bottom lip afterward like a little kid.

34. I honestly cannot imagine what it must be like to have to learn a bands entire repertoire when they have played it their whole lives. And feel like shit when you don't remember something. That'll take the stuffing out quickly. Adam gets right back on his feet. That is true courage and an ultimate life strength. I want to know the personal pep talk or thoughts that enables his whip speed goof up resilience/ bounce-back.

35. Love of My Life is one of the most simple, beautiful and cathartic love songs… handed to the audience to sing, as a prayer, up to Freddy. Music + love = the real church

I noticed that I like the Killer Queen concert version as well as Another One Bites the Dust. I was surprised when I heard them on the radio the other day -- really different in studio. I can say that about a lot of Adam's songs too -- some just sound better live; not so over-produced. |
