LOL - Does Dr. Bri have duct tape on the back of his guitar....so redneck! Maybe since the restoration he's trying not to scratch it up with belt buckles, etc.? Seems like there'd be a higher tech option, lol.

There is a new member who posted her review of the MSG concert on that thread. Just thought I would bring it over so it wouldn't be missed. She is from Finland! I just felt I had to write something about my experiece from the MSG consert. I first became a Glambert two years ago when they played songs from Trespassing on the Radio. I got to hear Adam from the radio several times a day and it was so good I had to go and find some more. Someone had uploaded the trespassing CD to the youtube and I can say it was the first CD ever I could listen to so that I had no need to skip any track from there. and now two years later it made me buy tickets and flights to see Queen+Adam at the MSG. And a trip first time to the States. I thought that I would travel alone, and it was not a big deal for me, I just wanted to go and do this. Before this trip I wrote to a another Finnbert here in Adamtopia. She gave me information about the pre-party and we made plans to meet in NY while we were there. We did meet on the day of the consert, went sightseeing and made plans about the pre-party. When I was leaving to the pre-party and waited for this other adamtopian in the front of my hotel, there were few glamberts that walked by me. I could see that they were Glamberts, but was too shy to say anything. They turned around and asked if I was a Glambert? I was so proud to be able to say that I am! I asked if I look like a glambert and they said yes! I'm nearly 40 years old and had leather pants on, but I was proud about it! I met a lot of Glamberts at the pre-party and everyone was so friendly and nice. I even got to meet other Finnberts! It is so strange that you need to travel to a different county to meet them And the consert... I had a seat at the section 106. Before they started to play I was a bit suprised that why people weren't clapping and yelling to get them to the stage? That is something we do in Finland... So if there is some of you who were at the same section, it was me who clapped and yelled like a grazy person there by her self! I'm still kind of speechless about the consert.. It was surreal and awesome! I think the they had thought the "whole package" theraly. It was like a consert should be, like a journey. I cannot pick up my favorite part, because they all were on their own way. I was a breathtaking moment when Brian got the standing ovation, and sang Love of my life together with the crowd. I think I forget to breath at some parts of WWLF and TSMGO, just listening the master to hit those notes.I loved the theatrical-part in Killer Queen. When Adam said something about he is not at all like that for real, I just thought that maybe not in his real life, but that is definately something he likes to do on the stage, and I am glad he did it! Love Kills was in my opinion one of the best versions so far. I'm not an expert to explain why, but there was something different. When I talked about the "whole package" earlier, I would add that Brian's quitar solo and Roger's solo were a perfect fit for the consert. It was something like you could just listen to the "raw talent". One of the best parts of the consert was when the hole Madison Square Garden was on their feet (at least what I could see) during the last three songs. Thank you all fellow glamberts I got to meet on this trip, I hope we will get meet soon again! I am on twitter with a name JaanaHelsing. I don't usually post there that much, so there is no need to start and follow, but as an info to those I met if you would like to go and see photos or something! This was my first post here so if this should be at some other thread please be kind to move it! A few more notes from Mohegan Experience +
13. Awesome "fealty" backbend in Stone Cold Crazy: Hilarious and strangely fascinating that the NYTimes reporter sees it as a deferential "fealty" move instead of a sexual Velvet Goldmine-ish move. Not even a smidgeon of comprehension. . 14. Love that smile Brian gets when he does a great riff and knows it. "Yes, I am awesome" , "Yes, this is an awesome opening to an awesome song". And the audience, in complete accord, goes wild. . 15. What is it about a group of men harmonizing beautifully before ripping up the stage? Few things are as sweet as the opening to Fat Bottom Girls. . 16. Love that Adam's chest popping has returned with Fat Bottom Girls. . 17. Adam grinning like a child after getting on the floor and sticking out his tongue in Brian's guitar cam. . 18. Would have loved to hear them talking through the aiming of Brian's guitar cam at Adam's ass and crotch. THE BRILLIANCE. Wonder who came up with that one? ; ) Rock and roll baby! I'm soo sure it just happened. . 19. Also absolutely hilarious just how much pelvic thrusting goes on while back to back with Brian. Brian's got the hot-wired penis extension (someone had to say it) and Adam has …. oop there it is folks. and there again.

Was listening to FBG on radio yesterday (posted a little something on it in Vocal Masterclass thread) and one thing that struck me was how much "heavier" the sound is in this version. Much more rock...

Continued (Never-ending?) Notes from the Mohegan Concert +
20. Adam's grin when he thinks he's gotten away with something really naughty. BEST. . 21. Mohegan Sun! best performances go on here!! . 22. "Get on your bikes and ride" move is definitely equal opportunity. Some VERY happy gay guys must have that one on rerun. Along with his new laying-on-his-front-on-the-couch move with the bum wiggle. He is quickly developing the bum wiggle to a (subtle?) artform. No? . 23. Brian and Roger truly, without a doubt, reverse aged during this tour. AMAZING to see. Music is the ultimate serum. Teach that to the young-uns. . 24. Has anyone noticed how meta, inside meta, inside meta Queen has become? I get freaked out if I think about it too much. They are like the mirror reflecting the mirror, reflecting the mirror that never ends. They are timeless but they also create the art of timelessness, and then replay it in a window while they are playing. And Adam singing "It's so risky but I gotta chance it. It's so funny. But it's nothing to laugh about…I can see what you want me to be. But I'm no fool. There's no meaning in my pretending. " tweaks something somewhere deep, (a root Chakra or something ; ) .. and makes me want to cry.
25. OK, I Have cried during that part (and I hold a camera of me crying while I'm crying. ... Not really the second part) Note: Don't smoke pot and read this paragraph. On a serious note: Adam singing this song squeezes my heart and lungs to the hurting point. And the Freddy, Adam meta hit me hard at this point.
