So, it took Adam 5 years to say he wanted to win? The man is glacial:)))
Just kidding:) As far as I'm concerned, he didn't have to say it now either, who cares. Maybe that's why he said it.

If there are others like me who thought their computer's sound system died, it didn't: this video doesn't actually have sound. There is a much better one of him doing this, with sound, I don't know if it was already posted: link
When I saw it, I remembered when he did the same weird thing with his mouth in front of Ashley during one of his concerts, and she was so confused that she pecked him on the lips... It was sooo awkward, and totally not what Adam was going for  Serves her right, she should have spent more time studying Adam's facial acrobatics  I think it was the RED PANTS concert, the Fantasy Springs Concert 2012. Don't remember the song, sorry aleks.  Aw:) Thanks anyways:) It's not even important, but I distinctly remember facepalming at her gesture:) |

Too many people to quote, but of course he WANTED to win! And if course he knew that it didn't matter because he'd already achieved an important goal, but he still wanted to win. There is an idol confessional video right around top 2 or 3 that I've seen where Adam says " I think...maybe I can win this thing" or words to that effect. I have also always believed he was utterly crushed for about 5 minutes in the aftermath of the winner's announcement; if you've ever watched the finale video and seen Allison hugging him while kris is singing his victory song or something you know exactly what I mean. The look in his eyes for that short moment said it all. And then he pulled himself together and got over it and realized it didn't matter. But nothing will convince me that he didn't want to win. Awkward Ashley Thing sounds funny by the way, geezlouise
