I don't know if that has the same connotation in English, but in Dutch 'Naaien' (which is our word for sewing) is also a very well known and quite crude synonym for having sex. And now we've had our cultural horizon expansion for the day. You're

Sewing. I don't think I am familiar with the term. I looked it up on urbandictionary and it said:
sewing To have kinky sex, often anonymous.
What does that have to do with sloppy t-shirts?
Oh, did you mean joining two or more pieces of fabric together with thread rather than glue? I thought that was as obsolete as spinning wool into yarn or weaving your own cloth.

The snakeskin boots are making a re-appearance -- always loved them. Grunge is the "new" trend -- Adam, ahead of the curve with those jeans. Never been a fan of most of his shirts but continue to appreciate what's under them -- well, what he allows us to enjoy -- okay, I take part of that back -- I like the shirt he wore in Miami -- the one that kept unbuttoning itself. Love those boots too! Love that he still has them even more!

Yep... I've lived my entire life without sewing a stitch. I can sew on a button but that's it. I used to glue on my daughter's Girl Scout badges and use iron on knee patches for my son's jeans. I'm useless. :( I got an "F" on an apron I made in high school. I threw it away on the way home from school that day. I hate sewing more than just about anything! But I'm proud to say that I HAVE sewn on a few buttons in my time. My daughter on the other hand made many of her own clothes so she can take in the seams of HER Tee if she wants to. 8D Adam looks so gorgeous in the latest pics from last night. I'm not in love with the hair style (tho I love the color) but it's flattering to him - what isn't? It's just that the style is so ordinary. Something he's NOT! When I was in grade 7 it was mandatory for all the girls to take Home Economics [which was half sewing and half cooking] and for the boys to take Shop. Gender segregation at its finest! Because my 'grade' was full of the first wave of the baby boomers, there was always a lot of us. That year there were 24 of us that promised to take French in lieu of Home Ec so from Grade 8 on, I was in a girls only small class, and we took French....with the cutest 21 year old French teacher...Monsieur Pepin...how lucky were we....except we were ill prepared for a life of domesticated bliss when the opportunity presented itself.

Why are these newest photos of Adam so stunning? He looks so fresh-faced. So pretty. Is it the softer hair color? Less height in the hairstyle? I don't get it. He is looking so natural, so young, so pure. Cassie, I agree. Looking somewhat normal and natural is a "new style" for Adam. Just changing it up I guess and I like it. Yes, the sewing machine. I spent $60 to get it fixed and then it broke again. I guess 50 years old is too old for my poor Singer. I like my Singers young, tall and handsome. My packages came today and now I have quite a collection!!! But why did I get 3 totes? Can't complain.

Hmmmm, Freddie also filled out his white pants pretty well -- splish splash . They're all in top form here. Shags and sideburns -- used to love that look. <laughs> WHY is Roger wearing a geisha costume and looking like he just crawled out of bed?!! John is also wearing a Kimono and Freddie has an Asian inspired jaket on. I suspect Brian does too but we can't see it. Notice the space under Brian's legs is white, not blue like the rest of the background!

Having Discworld flashbacks to the Seamstresses' Guild! I was thinking the same thing. Now I know why the "ladies of the evening" in Discworld are in the Seamstress Guild. WOW!! The things you learn on ATOP.
