And Brian.. Roger, Spike, Neil.. and Rufus.. and all the crew. . As we all have to admit it that Adam is even better now because he plays with these two legends and world class musicians. Just to show to have great musicians to back him up is very important to Adam's live performance.
Yeah, now that he's seen the world of private jets, personal assistants, etc, not to mention being with and performing with the cream of the rock world, talent personified, be kinda hard to go back to before all this. Adam is with people whose talent level matches his and Queen is known for being absolutely mad about being as close to perfection as they can get. At Live Aid, Queen was the only band that rented rehearsal space for a week to groom and perfect their sound, not to mention having their own sound man adjust the monitors. After this tour, when Adam is preparing to put his product out, he's going to want the same level of musicianship and talent backing him up. He'll be able to afford the best of the best and his music will be the best, I'm sure. Adam only needs that one hit record.
Maybe it's going to be hard to go back to before all this QAL collab, but Adam's a very grounded person. He know what he has and he will work on all his limited resources and make something great out of it.

After reading what Gary Stokes said about Adam, here we can hear that his hearing is really very sensitive that he can hear all the little stuff that nobody heard. Just a regular monitor engineer probably couldn't understand what he wants and don't know what to do with all his demands. A very good monitor engineer such as Stokes understand this, and see him as a challenge.

I have to disagree. I do not have any lack of memory about Freddie live. Freddie was dynamic live and had a very unusual, very strong connection with the audience -- just not on CLTCL usually -- Caveat: I only saw CLTCL live with Freddie 3 times. And for me Freddie doing STL at the piano was wonderful live. Adam doing his version of STL is wonderful live. Also to be fair to the reviewer, she did not compare Adam's performance of CLTCL to Freddie live, I did. She compared it to the recording. I just went back and listened to the recorded track. Freddie does have really campy, playful vocals on this song. And the music video was his leather boy personna. youtu.be/EE34cSvZCd8For me, I would love Adam to go full out Elvis on CLTCL. So maybe I do get that reviewer's point after all. But the way the set is arranged, CLTCL is in a rock section, and if he was really campy there it might be odd.
LOL.. I thought I leave it to you Q3 to respond as a person who've seen Freddie live performance few times. People said about Adam that they have to experience Adam's live performance to see how great he is.. how amazing his voice in person. I imagined it would be the same thing with Freddie. There's no word to explain the magic.

Wow, thank you so much for posting this. I got chills. May I just say, though, that unless those women TALKING while he is SINGING ("The Birdcage" reference there) are discussing either an imminent organ transplant or the fact that the building and/or one of their asses is actually, really, at that moment on fire, there is no excuse whatsoever for talking while THAT VOICE is singing. NONE.

OT but does anyone have the link to the live streaming at Burning man we had last year? It was fun to watch the village activities even at a distance.

Q3, can't remember which city, but I remember one reviewer saying Adam's CLTCL was too Elvis & called it karaoke! I am glad he toned down the Elvis in this song! He is definitely playful though ! That, review, IDG! This isn't the first time I have seen Adam's performance or vocal compared to Freddie in a music video! Seems ridiculous! Can you imagine if someone performed FYE or IIHY live, say on a TV show & we all compared it to those amazing music videos?!
Ugh karaoke?! I love it when Adam's channeling Elvis when he sang CLTCL, especially when he did brush his hair the way Elvis did.. so sexy!! He did this a lot in Hammersmith.
This video at 2:00.

I am going to Tampa for the get together. I will burn you an MP3 CD as I hear you live right across the street from glamtealady and I would love to meet you. How is that?
