For the first time I have set up folders of playlists and YouTube channels so I can go back to them. Hoping to make my own playlists from these, but won't have time to do that for awhile. Well, good luck with that! I still have bookmarked folders of videos and playlists from the Idol Tour awaiting organization. I missed out on getting that done because I was all up in Glam Nation videos and folders, and I never got those organized because of Trespassing era goodies. Then I never got to those because of QAL, and I suspect I'll never get to these because of Era 3. Embarrassment of riches, indeed! I know you're right, Buder...

My DH and I were discussing this and we both feel that this tour has accomplished the impossible - Adam is seen as a potent and charismatic front man but very likable, charming and gracious. That is extremely important. He has not stepped into Freddie's shoes with ego and narcissism. He was oh so brilliant to give the props to Freddie as his inspiration and talk about how much he loved him and how honored he is to sing with rock royalty. The crowd roars approval when he does that and f*** the critics who think he is too obsequious by doing that. It worked. It was pure genius. They rallied to him and the chemistry changes in the crowd from good to amazing. If there is a next time around, we think the mantra will be different. Adam will be established as the new look of Queen and it will be more celebrated and comfortable. I agree and the good part about this is that is imho how he really feels. Not using it as a tool but with sincerity. Yes. ITA. I realize now that the way I wrote this can imply he was machiavellian about it. He was sincere and natural and fortunately, it translated into a huge factor for the Queen fans warming up and accepting him.

I have an enormous amount bookmarked that I keep meaning to look through. I see some of you are listening to "Trespassing." I've been listening to "For Your Entertainment" -- there are a lot of great songs on that album! A week or two ago, I mentioned that a Calgary radio station was cutting songs in half so they could play more for their "attention-span limited" audience. They've given up on that idea for fear of law suits. Calgary's AMP radio gives up on short songs format 90.3 radio station tried out QuickHitz since the beginning of August www.cbc.ca/news/canada/calgary/calgary-s-amp-radio-gives-up-on-short-songs-format-1.2741026

I'm a long time lurker (going all the way back to MJs) But I just had to say that my eyes just popped out when I read the Perth review from Candice Barnes.... "To round out the show, the band played their best known hits. Lambert didn't quite capture the playfulness of the vocal in Crazy Little Thing Called Love but more than made up for it during Who Wants to Live Forever. For me, the latter was better than the album version (and I am now awaiting hate mail from the die-hard Queen fans…)." Read more: adamtopia.com/thread/2525/start-conquest-sold-out-show#ixzz3BFUvZ5jlview from Candice Barnes I'm sure that others have also commented (I haven't read thru the thread yet) But NOT CAPTURED THE PLAYFULNESS of the VOCAL in "CLTCL" !!!!! At least she had the "WWTLF" correct. LOL Since I'm actually posting, I too would like to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for all of the work that you do to bring "everything Adam" to this wonderful website. I check-in a couple of times a day. This place is full of kindred spirits...the humor...the intelligence...the desire to understand peoples differences and celebrate individualism...the sheer ability to recognize F***ing HOT raw sexuality when you see it...you know...kindred spirits. LOL Anyway, thanks again. Not Playfull Enough!?! Give me a break....

However, I don't think I've seen the Perth rendition, but I can't imagine it is much different from all the other super playful, fun, silly, dancy, just down right entertaining CLTCL's that we have seen already!!!
