I just wanted to say thank you for all the fun here.. I've been sitting for the past 3 weeks in the hospital with my husband as he slowly leaves this world and I thank you for all the humor, videos and one-sided conversations. You've brought some relief to tough times. I suspect I'm not the only one lurking here enjoying your good humor and serious analysis of delightful performance art. Please keep it up and carry on. Although I am new I wanted to send you peace ,light and love, My husband is not well and everyday we share is a blessing . I wrote the following verse for a co worker whose father recently past , I thought you might enjoy it , Sun on a cloudy day. Care and strife washed wash away, Time floats on Gilded wings, Moments in eternity, Music played on golden harps Threads it's way into my heart, Then surrounds my soul with endless peace While angels wait within my reach . Love ...dances openly ,partnered with tranquility , Through hallow halls of ancient grace On clouds of hope for endless days. Joy ...resounds both far and near Filling me with warmth and cheer, I know now I'm not alone He has called ...I'm going home . |
