Just got home from Melbourne last night! OMFG I can not put into words the experiences of QAL shows. But I will try to come up with a lucid recap later today after work. Suffice to say that the first show was incredible, but the second show was off the charts. Best concert I have ever seen.... just unbelievable!!! The emotional reaction I had to everything in Saturday's show caught me off guard. I still get teary thinking back about it. Back to reality and work today tho - not sure how I will find the words to answer my colleagues inevitable question "how was the show?" Words are just inadequate! So thrilled I get to see 2 more shows this week, but I know that won't be enough. There will never be enough. But I'll take it. I have some quite good pics too which I will share. Should I post my recap & photos in the appropriate concert threads?? Ohhhhh, can't wait to read your recaps! I believe you post them in the appropriate concert thread and mention/link to the current daily thread. Thank you so much, eri9! |

I agree with Talon on this one, Q3. I think there will be more QAL. And 2016 sounds like the right time. And, IMO, that will be the last go round!

Sir Paul is out there with 3 hours long concerts! They can keep doing it too! On another note: I just finished watching Così fan tutte on PBS, Renée Fleming hosted the program and conducted interviews with the cast. At the end she asked how was it for the singers to work with Maestro Levine. Maurizio Muraro (Don Alfonso) answered: " it's like the title of this English group called Queen - It's a Kind of Magic". Those were the last words of the 4 hour program! They are still everywhere! |

Although we won't have much money for the foreseeable future, this has been a great summer, getting to see Adam and Queen doing what they love to do. So many non believers to witness greatness show after show to the delight of mostly all. This has got to result in many more new fans for Adam's music and his fan base. I'll buy whatever is put out by Adam and Queen, together or separately. Another go round on the tour (s) will be more than welcomed in 2015, as long as Queen's collective health holds up. The exhilaration and joy will be missed as this Tour winds down and I hope they continue as soon as reasonably possible and that Adam gets his own music out asap, so as to capitalize on all the new interest in him.

Well today is Dday for QAL. My beautiful son and girlfriend bought us tickets to the Brisbane concert. So excited. Will let you all know how it went. I plan to be a bit selfish and enjoy the moment. My hubby and I went to GNT in Brisbane which I taped, I want to go there this time and just soak it in, enjoy the moment.   |
