I have become an avid Queen fan since 2011 and listen to a combination of Queen w/Freddie songs and my favorite Adam songs on cd's (since I'm not tech savvy enough to download any of the QAL songs on my new IMac). I am fully aware that I was attending 5 Queen + Adam Lambert concerts; however, one thing that the Chicago concert did get right was the outdoor signage. They not only listed Q+ AL but also listed Adam Lambert + Queen on their marquee. I did find an improvement in the screen shots allotted to Adam as the concerts progressed. One other thing that I observed starting with the Kiev concert is that you couldn't hear Adam's voice on the first few songs because the instrumentation was so loud. I wasn't able to hear NIH at Chicago concert. Had to wait till I got home and reviewed tapes. Brian and Roger have gotten better at not covering up Adam's voice. They are stupendous musicians but a better balance is needed. I wonder if Roger's deafness is what contributes to his drumming going way beyond the end of the songs. That even has improved. Remember, these are just my thoughts and opinions and like eyes, we all have them and they're all different. I'm just hoping Adam without Queen will not be a big come down. The bar is now set very high. Adam has not had a bad review and after the next two concerts we may be in for a dry spell. The momentum he has started with QAL needs to continue. Wish A3 or a great single could explode on the scene soon.

Thanks MyS*&@^#r. Isn't it funny the things that you notice way after the fact. I was so swamped with RL from the beginning of the tour to Vegas that it's all a blur plus add in the 3 shows I squeezed in during then. I am going to go back and check it all out when we are in our holding pattern for A3. ETA, maybe he grabbed those boots out of his closet when they got to LA :DD Looks like he wore the lace up boots in Chicago, then retired them for 6 shows. Then brought them back in Vegas! I know I am in the minority but the white pants didn't work! Totally chopped up his long lean look! Now, they probably would have worked with different shoes. Adam agrees with you, so do I. In an recent interview, Adam said he saw a photo of the white pants after the Chicago concert and did not like how they looked. I agree, the black pants are better.

I actually agree with you on making sure that there is a non-explicit version of whatever he releases. Call it prudish or anything you want, but some language is simply not acceptable in all circumstances. And I will admit to being capable of being as fowl mouthed as they come - guilty. But that does not mean that I will speak that way in front of others children or business associates. With FYE, I would slip the CD in the car, frequently to rave responses. With Trespassing, I could not do that. I guess I have a different definition of "explicit". Trespassing had some double and triple entendres and some adult themes but no explicit language. Am I forgetting something? "No Trespassers? Yeah, my ass!" Kickin' InShe wants to introduce me To her friend Eddie What is she tryin' to do to me? He got words that rhyme He got a dirty mind Persuasive Am I about to do it now?It is late and I must me forgetting a song or two?

walk that walk like you don't give a fuck!
Love the word, so many uses and meanings! It is not really shocking anymore and can be edited for radio.

Radio is not really the issue, such language is simply unacceptable in some company and some settings. Live in a concert setting, no big deal. Some of us prefer to respect other peoples feelings and their wishes as to what they and their children are exposed to. My preference would be two versions, an explicit and a non explicit.

Really? huh.. eta: old history but I remember at my son's high school they would not play We Are The Champions because Freddie was gay. Oh, we definitely cannot use that word where I work. There are many different people from many different countries and many different cultures where I work. And being respectful of all these cultures means going with the least common denominator of acceptable language. Remind me sometime to tell you the story about when we used a ballroom edit of Prince's song "Cream" for a Cha-Cha dance demo. That's when I learned to look everything up in the urban dictionary beforehand.
