We either get "old" or we're dead. Given the option, I chose "old". I have always said that! It is why I really celebrate every birthday!  I always say, "The alternative to growing old, is to die young! I prefer to grow old!" OFC, I am now 64 and it hasn't happened yet!   |

When I was "young" I felt old, burdened by a desire to fit in and excel ... when I got "old" I went to Burning Man and followed a gorgeous man all over the world for no one's pleasure but my own.
Don't wanna trade.

I SOOO agree with this. My father has had fancy, high-tech, invisible hearing aides for years and gets along great. My mother has high-frequency hearing loss and refuses to deal with it. When she first heard he had hearing aides (they've been divorced for decades), she gasped and said "so old." So we have to talk really loudly to Mom and she thinks she hears what's going on. I, for one, am going to deal with hearing loss in the same way I dealt with getting glasses--JUST DO IT. If my teeth go bad, I get them fixed too.? What does it matter how old we are What does it matter how old we are? a lot !!! cant hear cant see ,,dont want tae be old !!  Oh, I know, sweetie. But whether I'm young or old, I'd want to hear the best that technology can help. |

Adam seemed a bit reluctant to rub noses at first. I wonder if his 'not feeling well' was a cold and he was worried about passing it on. |

It looks like at 1:50 in the vid, Adam is indicating that he is sick and doesn't want to touch noses, but the performers aren't buying it so he goes ahead with it. Such a gentleman trying to keep his germs to himself. TBH, I would be the first in line to touch my schnoz with Adam's no matter what he was spreading!  |
