Wasn't it mentioned earlier this summer that Adam had been approached a few times about the Hedwig role but his schedule was full. Personally, I don't think it's a good fit but I haven't really listened the music. Is the music memorable?

This one was EPIC!!!!!!! There also is one or 2 vids taken from the side/back so that you can see Adam singing. I may have watched those a few 100 times! That's the sign of a polished group of professionals; that stuff just rolls off their backs and they keep going! It's awesome to watch. You're right . . . and that awesome group of professionals includes the crew who 'hide in plain sight' - just away from the lights - and spring into action the moment something is amiss. Adam, Brian, Roger, Spike, Neil, and Rufus keep going because they know the crew has their backs every moment. As one of the stagehands said, "We have to make sure of everything, because without their performance, we don't get paid."

Looks like I'll be doing a short spamming of the thread on a slow day . . .
Today at the hospital I went to the lobby to get a newspaper for a patient. A grand piano sits near the window; rarely played. Well, today the most beautiful melody filled the room and corridors. Two years ago I wouldn't have known what it was. I went up to the piano player and thanked him for his lovely musical gift. As I walked away, two elderly ladies who had been listening asked me the name of the song. "'Love of My Life', by Queen - the band, Queen", I said."It's one of my most favorite songs."
That's all. But I walked away with tears in my eyes and love in my heart.

The Q+AL efficiency number is great. Now I would like to see one with the VIP $ added in. Because that average ticket price would probably be about $40 higher. That said -- comparing US venues to AU venues is rally not comparable. And the casino shows are def non-comp. I actually think Brisbane is the one show, so far, that has had the VIP averaged in. I say this because on the BB box Scores, they list the top ticket price as $1166! No other venue has done that yet!

My gut feeling. at least for NA, is that there are so few of the really high-end VIP tickets that they really would have a fairly negligible impact on the average ticket price. The gifts that are included in the VIP ticket should not be included in the ticket price report. The value of the gifts, like with charity donations, is a separate entity. The typical average reported (so far) ticket price in NA has been around that $95 mark.

Just a thought! I think that it is possible that UMG sponsored part of the QAL tour because of the new Queen release of Rainbow album. It would have been a good investment, wouldn't it? There might have been other sponsors, too. Q3, did you hear anything about tour sponsors???
