When Adam Lambert hit Ryan Seacrest's radio show to chat about his temporary American Idol judging gig on Thursday, the Glammy One let it slip that he's already teamed up with a new label for his third album after parting ways with RCA a year ago.
“I’m not going to say too much because I try to keep things under wraps,” Lambert told Seacrest. “I’m working on this album, I’m really excited about it. I got signed to another label, which I’m not going to reveal right now, but it’s a really good deal and it’s a good project. I’m working with an amazing executive producer."
After releasing Trespassing, which topped the Billboard 200 in 2012, Lambert parted ways with RCA after the label reportedly pressured him to record an all-covers album for his third LP, instead of new material.
So, what's the new material going to sound like? "Again, I can’t say too much, but it’s going to be really good," Lambert said. It seems we'll just have to take his word on that for now.
Lambert recently joined Jennifer Lopez and Harry Connick Jr. behind the judges' table for the New York auditions of American Idol season 14. Lambert is filling in for Keith Urban, who is taking time off to be with his wife, Nicole Kidman, after the death of her father.
Season 14 of Idol premieres January 2015.

The 32-year-old entertainer made an appearance on On Air with Ryan Seacrest where he chatted about being a guest judge on American Idol after being a contestant years ago, and talked about his upcoming album!

It has today been revealed that Queen and Adam Lambert will continue to reign supreme as they’re set to bring their amazing tour to Europe, along with stops in the UK!
Queen recently wrapped their most recent tour with Adam Lambert, after taking to venues in the likes of America, Canada, and Australia, and it looks like it’s going to be the turn of European fans very, very soon.
British fans have been crying out for Adam Lambert and Brian May to come to the UK and perform a couple of dates, but nothing had been announced, until now. There’d been the odd hint, in which either Brian or Adam stated that if the show was popular enough, then they couldn’t see why they wouldn’t bring it to the UK, but it finally looks like we’re getting somewhere.
During an interview with Chris Evans on BBC Radio 2, on September 19, Brian May and Roger Taylor admitted that they’re currently trying to work out dates for the UK and mainland Europe.

The pair said that the previous tour dates have proven to be a complete success, and there seems to be a LOT of demand for Queen and Adam Lambert to come over to the UK, so they’re trying to work something out.
Unfortunately we haven’t got any dates to give to you as of yet, but with the sounds of things, it won’t be long until we’ll hear something.
“We’ve just had one of the best tour we’ve ever done, we’ve been to America, Canada, Australia, Asia, and New Zealand. We’ve got this amazing singer and it’s a good show. We thought we’d carry on and do Europe and the UK”.
It seems to be the announcement that just about EVERYONE has been waiting for.
Just to tide you over, Taylor added that they are “a millimeter from the button” in terms of confirming a tour schedule, and announcing it to the world. So, keep your eyes peeled for more information!

I truly enjoy weeks with a bunch of surprise Adam Lambert-ness, and this was a really, really good one.
We got to see Adam rocking a sexy blue suit for the American Idol auditions, being silly with Jennifer Lopez and Harry Connick Jr. and even paying a visit to his good pal, Ryan Seacrest.
So much Lambert. So little time. The singer seemed to bring his crazy week to an end last night as he arrived back in Los Angeles. Obviously he looked stylist, and yes he wore sunglasses at night.
Adam's weeknight party look--do we approve?
Usually that bothers me, but this is Adam, so I forgive. Other than the cute Instagram photos he kept posting, the highlight of Adam’s week–for me anyway–was his visit to On Air With Ryan Seacrest. It really gave you an amazing sense of who Adam is. He’s not just some guy who was on American Idol, he’s a truly wonderful human and artist.
“It’s full circle and it’s kind of surreal,” he told Ryan. “I’m sitting there going, ‘This is so strange,’ but it’s such a great opportunity because I feel like, as best as I can, I can try to help them kind of see the light at the end of the tunnel and keep the big picture in mind.”
And I actually awed when he said this:
“Whenever I watch the show, this [judging] is the part that [is] sometimes hard to watch because I feel so bad for the kids that come in there and don’t cut it, and their dreams are crushed in that moment. So I’ve been trying to be sensitive to that, but you know, you got to be honest. And I also think that this is people’s livelihood and I think that if you can just give them some advice — even if they don’t make it through — maybe they can get better in the future.”

Adam Lambert Is Happy To Be Back From The Big Apple

Adam Lambert flew to Los Angeles International Airport from New York City on Thursday evening, and though the singer was happy to fill in as a judge on American Idol, he looked even happier to be home in Hollywood.
Lambert sat alongside Jennifer Lopez and Harry Connick Jr. to judge season 14 auditions in New York, and last week the show confirmed that the AI album would be serving as guest judge for Keith Urban, as Urban is grieving with his wife, Nicole Kidman, who lost her father earlier this month. "Our thoughts are with Keith and his family during this difficult time," a rep for the hit show added in a statement.
So what else is Lambert working on these days? His upcoming album! After his post-Idol deal with RCA ended, he signed with another label, but he's staying mum on his new music.
"I'm not going to say too much, because I like to keep things under wraps," he recently told Ryan Seacrest about his forthcoming third album. "I’m not usually that good at that, but I’m trying something new. You know, the element of surprise in this post-Beyonce world."
