There was some discussion about Lady Gaga at the end of yesterday's thread. In the article that was linked, LG said that singing with Tony Bennett has had a huge influence on her. If you are interested, she and Tony B are a feature on the CBS Sunday Morning show. It's on now (9:00) on the US East Coast.
Tie in: Adam is also hugely affected by singing with the "old guard."

Available as a special free gift to ATOP members only on login during Q+AL tours. The specially-formulated vaccination is guaranteed to retain the sanity of Glamberts worldwide on contact with a page containing the mutated virus known in Lambert fan communities colloquially as #FLD (TM Bridgeymah) or more accurately as mercury-comparidatum-idiosys.The vaccination has a novel, sophisticated formula guaranteed to remain active for the duration of any tour. By working directly on the frontal, temporal and parietal lobes of the brain, it scrambles any known variation of the words, "He's no Freddie but ... " in any language so that the reader instead see the words, "Lambert brings his own unique and inspired interpretation of the Queen catalogue to life ...". It is also the only vaccination in existence with a known side effect of increasing the release of oxytocin, the 'pleasure hormone' in tested subjects by over eighty percent. Avoid the stampede and get in early. Nikki, please save a dose for me!!!

2011 Interview with Dr. Bri - interesting fellow. graciejane - thank you! What a pleasure to have the window into Dr Bri opened a little more! But the REAL TREAT was the interviewer! WOW! I love that interview. I've seen it before. It sheds some light on his dark personality and even with some of the philosophical stuff, it makes sense. Scientists are a different beast. I am still dumbfounded that he found time to finish his Ph.D., work in astronomy, still be a rock star, and also be an active philanthropist. It seems to fill that lonely void for him. That interviewer was fabulous. If only they were all that great and insightful. My sister is a biochemist and if you get her talking about her work, her brain shifts into a new place, but it's interesting nonetheless.

Thanks for the info. Just got on CBS. Hope I didn't miss the segment. Can you believe that Bennett is in his late eighties and he sounds GREAT.. And some people think Brian and Roger are too old to perform.. HA!

Heh heh heh. Someone has to do the FLD in Hebrew, Arabic, and Afrikaans I'll take a shot in Hebrew (hope I spelled it all correctly): הוא לא פרדי מרקורי nikki - that was awesomely hilarious! thank you for the laugh! </img> The spelling is perfect, but it says "He's not Freddie Mercury". To say "Adam is not Freddie, but..." would be: ...אדם הוא לא פרדי, אבל

Adam Lambert signs to new label for ‘exciting’ third albumattitude.co.uk/adam-lambert-signs-to-new-record-label-for-exciting-third-album/by Josh Haigh Adam Lambert has revealed that he has signed to a new record label. Lambert left his previous record label, RCA, because he didn’t want to follow his second album, 2012’s Trespassing, with an album of cover versions. He has since toured with Queen and appeared in several episodes of Glee. During a new interview with Ryan Seacrest, the singer teased fans about his forthcoming third album – but explained that he wouldn’t be giving too much away. “I’m trying something new — the element of surprise in this post-Beyonce world,” Lambert said. “So, yeah — I’m working on this album. I’m really excited about it. I got signed to another label, which I’m not gonna reveal right now. But it’s a really good deal.” When asked whether the album would featuring any collaborations, Lambert replied: “I think there will be, yeah. I’m working with an amazing executive producer. Again, I can’t say too much, but it’s gonna be really good.” Earlier this year, it was revealed that Lambert is working on new material with super producer Max Martin (Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys) — find out more here. attitude.co.uk/adam-lambert-working-britney-hit-maker-max-martin/
