There was some discussion about Lady Gaga at the end of yesterday's thread. In the article that was linked, LG said that singing with Tony Bennett has had a huge influence on her. If you are interested, she and Tony B are a feature on the CBS Sunday Morning show. It's on now (9:00) on the US East Coast. Tie in: Adam is also hugely affected by singing with the "old guard." Thanks for the info. Just got on CBS. Hope I didn't miss the segment. Can you believe that Bennett is in his late eighties and he sounds GREAT.. And some people think Brian and Roger are too old to perform.. HA! Hope you caught it at about 1 hour into the show. It was very touching. They ADORE each other. Here is a preview. www.cbsnews.com/videos/lady-gaga-on-fashion-advice/

What a hard, hard business. You start out just loving to sing/perform and then what happens if you realize Fame.. I remember Adam with the F word.. I'm so glad that Adam has found such incredible mentors in Brian and Roger.

How's this for kicking an enormous ant hill:
Wouldn't it be interesting if Queen had a couple mid-East dates including Israel and someplace like Bahrain. Equal opportunites to different countries from a band who has unabashedly had members from different religions.
(sorry Kamar, I don't think tour insurance would permit Syria :( )
