Wish I had some juicy bit of news to share with you but I got nothing. It's quiet, quiet, quiet today. Adam did tweet the American Idol video clip so I will re-post it because he liked it and it will make this page less naked and he looked really good too.

When we were putting up the QAL concert threads I stumbled across the 2011 Grammy Thread. I noted it and thought that it might be a fun read when things were quiet. I still haven't gotten to it yet but in case anyone is bored and wants to take a trip down memory lane(there are 140 pages):
The Adamtopia guidelines are quite simple. To be a member of Adamtopia...

2. You must be respectful of other members. Feel free to express your opinion, but be glitterier and golden.
3. Strive to be funny, entertaining or informative when you post. Avoid posting something that has already been posted.
4. Never question anyone's right to post, the appropriateness of a topic or define the proper way for an Adam fan or Adamtopia Member to behave. Let the moderators do their job.
More rules will be added if the need arises but, if everyone follows these rules, we will not need a lot of rules.

I'm a bit confused?? This sounds like some fans decided that this should be his birthday present/project?? Shouldn't Adam chose? And, it seems a bit early to start something without Adam's input!!
They actually started this Birthday Fan Fundraiser about a month ago. I asked them then, via twitter, why so early and they said that they just wanted the time to raise as much as possible. Note that their goal is only for $1,000 of which they now only have $178. It does seem a bit strange for them to start this early, but their hearts are in the right place and that is what is important!!!
I suggested that they might want to at least wait till closer to the AT&T Live Proud event to start their announcements as this would be a good tie in for the charity they are trying to raise money for. And I also suggested that they offer something to auction or such. And, once I get free of the end of quarter work frenzy next week (having started off the quarter behind with all of my QAL trips) I plan to make some QAL CDs for them to auction, raffle, or however they decide to do it.
