I was looking for a youtube of Gaga's visit to the Queen+Adam stage, in preparation for my Gaga show tonight. (YAY! #ArtraveAmsterdam, here I come!) And then I found this: From: www.nme.com/news/lady-gaga/79427"Gaga and Queen have a history of collaborating in the past. She co-wrote the track 'Fever', which appeared on Lambert's debut album 'For Your Entertainment', while May played guitar on her single ' Yoü and I', which sampled Queen's 'We Will Rock You'. " So now Adam is perceived as part of Queen from the FYE era on? Weird. Or am I reading things that aren't there? It really seems like Adam is perceived as part of Queen - and they clearly don't set it apart from when it started. But I really like this! You can put it how you want, Adam IS part of Queen! And yay to your #artrave, I would like to know how you find it! I follow Lady Gaga on facebook and I really like her... but some of her music not so much From the beginning of the 2014 Tour -- B&R has been referring to Adam as "our" Adam/man/boy/guy, we have a new frontman, etc. And yet, the maintained the separate credit and separate image for Adam. I has been a really nice balance for Queen fans, Adam fans and for both the Queen and Adam Lambert brands. But it seems to me that Adam has become more bold in talking about his interpretation of the music and his tour etc. It may be my imagination but since the return from Asia-Pacific he seems more comfortable having a level of ownership about this tour and this version of Queen. And anyone who has seen this show knows that this is only happening because of the collaboration between Adam, Bri and Roger. Take away either B or R and it is really not Queen. But take away Adam and there is really no show. (...and I really don't there is anyone who could have stepped into that frontperson position so effectively.) Am I imagining this shift? Watch the Fox News video that Babafan posted on page 2 and then look at the MSG pretour press conference.

The talk of 'our boy / man' has made me very proud, but a little voice in my head always followed up with 'they do know that they have to give him back some day, don't they?'. But of course Adam is his own man, even with the lure of Queen, so I am not worried at all. He'll find a way to balance it in a way that is good for him. I really noticed a shift between the 2nd Toronto show, and the Korean one. Which is funny, since that was actually the next show (even though there was a break in between). It seemed to me that Adam was leading them a lot more, really taking on the front man role. And I've wondered whether that could be because Korea sort of is his turf and it was a first for Queen. How much does it really affect him to know that he has to win a good portion of the audience over every time again? It is a huge task, and he's doing / did it brilliantly.

This is GREAT NEW VIDEO of Adam talking to Fox and posted on FoxNews. It's more than fair and balanced LOL, it's an Adam promo! THIS GREAT! STOP. DROP EVERYTHING AND WATCH THIS. And they present that summer Q+L tour in a way that will make every Adam fan happy. For example, the voice over says "wrap up HIS summer tour with Queen". But for me, the best bit was Adam talking about learning how to take it seriously, but not too seriously, from B&R. I love how they incorporated all the QAL stuff with great clip selection during AOBTD along with the Idol audition stuff, and altho it's old, they even included a shot during the Idol tour. And YES, the best bit was about not taking it too seriously, but having fun with it. TERRA terra_zephead Protected Tweets 7m I ripped & ULed the Fox vid (HD720p) of A talking about Idol auditions & album 3: www20.zippyshare.com/v/16389737/file.html … And yes, I've definitely noticed a shift from pre-tour until now. In referring to the Q songs, he said "make them new, make them mine, make them something of a collaboration with Brian and Roger..."

Yes, you are right about his on-stage presence -- it changed when they hit Asia. I am very interest to compare Q+AL 2015 London to Q+AL 2012 Hammersmith -- should be really interesting to see the evolution. ** I am happy there is no news because when that happens, Adam is working -- hopefully finishing his new album.

Gelly @14gelly Adam liked a studio pic cjbaran instagram.com/p/tUY2XfFVLo/?modal=true … He's @ pulse recordings. Adam followed him on IG on June.I can't help but wonder lol
Doris @starr_d @14gelly i'm in! he's been working with conway and she tweeted she would be seeing adam next week - which is this week
Hahaha, and the first thing I thought before I read? Adam's going to put a studio in his new house! He likes the ceiling in this one! Yep, still curious how his house will look when he is done with the decorating.

Slowly the rumor machine is starting up, people are saying QAL could maybe play Rock Werchter (big big festival in Belgium), or other festivals in Europe. www.ishetalwerchter.nl/?p=293 (that's a festival fan site asking 'could Queen + Adam Lambert be a good match?') festileaks.com/2014/09/queen-met-adam-lambert-naar-europa/ (bases itself on the B+R BBC interview) Don't have time to translate now, but there is no real news in those pieces anyway. Will be interesting to see what people are going to say about it. Anyway, I'm in!! Rock Werchter has been on my list for quite some years now, but something always comes up to make it impossible. If QAL is there, then this year I will make it happen! Wish list: * one show in Amsterdam (that would probably be at the Ziggo Dome), with an 'Adam only' A3 afterparty in Paradiso * one big festival near me (preferably Rock Werchter, but Pinkpop would also be good, preferably not Glastonbury as the tickets will go on sale in a week already, and usually sell out quickly) * one show in a nice European city that I can travel to cheaply, to lure my husband to a QAL show on the pretense of a nice holiday for just the two of us
