Yeah its ridiculous. I do have a phone line that I don't even use, I have cable and one movie channel (HBO), internet, and two cable boxes, including 1 DVR. It's so overpriced its ridiculous. It goes up $10-15 about every 6-9 months. So stupid. Mine is close to $250 per month. But that includes a phone land line, all the premium TV channels, 5 cable boxes and 100 mbps Internet. I don't even have a DVR. We have Charter Cable. It was Time Warner at one time. Being rural, one company is always buying out another. Oh, I challenge you all to beat me! $480 a month! Cable, computer, and 3 cell phones! Verizon! I told hubby, when he dies (kidding) first thing I'm doing is cancelling the cable!

Ooops. Scratch Feb 21st in Poland....looks like that's The Black Keys. I just saw this on twitter w/o any details. That "Don't Stop Me Now" sign may be the only "clue". The date makes geographic sense -- Poland after Italy - Germany. I have been trying to figure out where they might go. I think this could be a lot of shows -- over twenty, and 7-8 weeks. mid-January to mid-March works for what we know of Adam's schedule. London O2 seems like the kick off date. (my bet is they return to the UK and then to London when they are all done). And there are a lot of likely tour destinations: London show - opener France - Paris Spain - 2 shows - Madrid and Barcelona Portugal Italy - Rome, Florence, Milan Switzerland Austria - Vienna Germany - usually gets a lot of shows - Munich, Leipzig, Frankfort, Dortmund, Hamburg, Berlin Poland Czech Republic Sweden Belgium Netherlands - 2 shows Hungary England - London, Manchester, 3 more Wales Northern Ireland Ireland Possibles: Norway and Finland They will close this tour up at a later date with a concert in London -- a summer 2015 special event? That is almost as much as the entire tour that just ended. I sure as hell hope we don't have him touring into April!

OT I just was at a cinema that showed Live at the Rainbow. And it was great!! I love this early Queen material, and Freddie was so very great. I am at the same time very sad that I will never be able to see him live, and very very thankful that I did get to see Adam. I was a bit disappointed though in the people that were there. I talked to some of them, and they were mainly interested in discussing whether the harmonies were original and live or enhanced and not very interested in anything besides original Queen. It seems like it is the cool thing to be critical in the Queen fandom? Or do I have a weird outlook on it from reading QOL? I can be critical and sharp, and analytical as well (except when it's about Adam, but I know that, so I'll never try or pretend I am), but there is a time to nitpick, and a time to enjoy great music. And I know what I did tonight! One of the people I spoke to saw QPR, but didn't like it enough to consider going to another incarnation of Queen. Well, I told him that he would miss a great show if he didn't, and to watch the announcements next week. And he's going to think about it. And: they just HAVE to do White Queen on this leg of the tour. That song is just heaven. Cool that you got to see it in a theater! I don't think QOL posters are very representative of Queen fans. I agree, there are a group of avid "originalists" who like to be analytical -- and want to know everything about Queen. I just want to enjoy the show and the music. Regarding the harmony debate -- I think the Live at the Rainbow harmonies are modified. I do not blame anyone for debating it. It is the one disappointing thing about the otherwise brilliant release for me -- they took out some of the rawness and energy when they "cleaned" it up. But there is so much to love in those recordings. I doubt we will get WQ but I agree it would be heaven.

I like it! But why do you think 2 shows in the Netherlands? I know Queen is big here, but we are not so big a country. I am secretly counting on one show, but 2 would be a dream. And I just realised that the announcement will be at 9 am on a normal work day. How am I supposed to concentrate on real life stuff when I could get comfirmation that I can see QAL again??

Not as bad as yours but it still sucks.

DH watches the same old movies he's seen many times. All I want is HGTV. lol Well Q3.......perhaps I should hold off any UK plans until the finale in the summer. I like the sound of that. You know whatever they announce now for the last concert will change. I noticed in the Queen + PR tour schedule, they had London up front and towards the end and then again at the very end.

I loved that. My book is ordered. Can't wait to get it. I just love Brian; he is so eloquent. I doubt he was as hard on his kids and their life choices as his dad was on him. These guys are so well-spoken, all of them.

So disappointed. I downloaded the Summersonic video this afternoon before it was taken down. Unfortunately, the video is amazing, but there is no sound. Should have checked it right away. Maybe the poster will be able to put it up again. javascript:addS('http://i770.photobucket.com/albums/xx348/Quu3/Adam%20Smilys/Moiii-1.gif',' ');popCollapse()

If you are an original Adam Lambert Fan Club member, your membership expired this month. No notices were sent out. So you need to go to the site to renew! $10.29. Can't believe they didn't send out notices! :(
