Here's a Vimeo version of the Japan SS WOWOW TV 3 song set. It looks better than the youtube and is downloadable if anybody still wants it. The YouTube setting can be change to play at higher quality. I downloaded it at 1080 but it was set to play at a lower rate by default. However, the YT has now been taken down. The Vimeo is great and plays smoother for me. If anyone wants it, you just click the download but. Couldn't be easier.

Interesting they included all the anticipatory music and watching/waiting for the curtain to rise. This was the only time during the tour he went into the crowd wasn't it?

If you are going because you like Queen and you have no idea who Adam is then it's a good description of the Queen vibe. On the article they just meant to type phenomenal and they it autocorrected wrong. If you read the first two Gigwise reasons to see this concert -- they are parallel. I take the first as a huge compliment to Adam --- Lambert has gone all out to capture the spirit of Mercury's flamboyance, energy and powerful voice, without ever becoming an impersonator. -- that is almost exactly what Adam has said. The second reason is even more interesting to me.... .Brian May taking the spotlight: Adam Lambert may be the band's nominal frontman, but these shows belong to May, and rightly so. Expect to see incredible, consistently energetic guitar playing from May, as well as the occasional ten-minute solo. And we mean occasional, because no-one likes a show-off.While I do not agree that these shows belong to May (and I think only someone who hasn't seen Q+AL 2014 would write this), I do agree that Brian is more outfront in Q+AL than with Queen. I am interested to see what the core Queen fans think of the collaborative dynamic of Q+AL. I think it is a very good thing. But it is really different than Queen was in 70's and 80's. Pipes in as core Queen fan. I think if you from an outside perspective - for non Glamberts than the show DOES in a sense belong to Brian. The non-Glamberts are the Queen fans or (hardcore or casual) and they are there for Queen's music played by Queen and Brian's guitar is the most Queenly thing about the show. (Honestly Rog's backing vocals to me are JUST as important but probably is too subtle for a lot of people to think of as Queen sound). So that's why Brian is the show. And I don't mean that in a harsh way at all. Not saying these people don't end up liking Adam or approving of the collaboration or whatever...but Brian *IS* their main reason to go (Rog is second fiddle to the casuals probably and some of the hardcores (NOT ME THOUGH ) Brian also does step up much more than with Freddie but that is part of the appeasement to the Queen crowd I think. See Brian has one thing up on Adam. They are his songs. Adam does a great interpretation, but his involvement is only with that concert/tour - this is Brian's life...Does that make sense? I'm not trying to belittle Adam's involvement - indeed they wouldn't be touring without him so I am eternally grateful, but Adam's always going to be this outside force that's just doing a great job, but not inside the great big ball of whatever that makes up Queen. And I feel the same way about Rufus, Neil, and Spike even and Spike's been around since '84! I enjoy, like, and am grateful to them all :D SO with that Brian is like the ringmaster of this circus while Adam is their high flying trapeze artist...

OT but here's a video of Janis Joplin (I loved her music) being interviewed by Dick Cavett in 1969. Relating it to Adam she talks about singing coming from inside your soul and that it wasn't about the money but performing. Something I think Adam feels too. adamrocks - thank you so much for the Janis Joplin interview. She has always been one of my favorites and I forget sometimes.

Yes, thanks adamrocks for the Janis Joplin interview. I loved her music. And I enjoyed her perspective of singing from the "bottom" where so many float on the top. She just wanted to be called a singer....something that Adam has said often. Rpeura........ Q3......I would like to "invest" in your private 2015 Adam show.

Q3......I would like to "invest" in your private 2015 Adam show. Just out of curiosity, how much do you figure one of these private shows would actually cost. "If you wanna be it, you have got to dream..."

"If you wanna be it, you have got to dream..." LOL. I have no idea. Q3 would have a better idea. Seems early on, back when we might could have afforded to actually do this, it was around $60,000. Then seems there were reports of around $300,000 last year. Now, no telling. I'm sure it varies according to occasion.
