This reminds me that a lot of Queen fans in QAL complaining about the ticket fees for the concerts in UK. It's kind of ironic if not funny to compare the ticket price today to ticket price 20 years ago. The thing is economy's not as it was 20 years ago, maybe the ticket price they paid 20 years ago was actually expensive for that time.

It's not any different than everything else, right? The cost of living is higher now. Also, I for one love that QAL don't have an opening act because any grumblings I would have about ticket prices (which I do not have any) would be overridden by the fact that I don't have to listen to an opening act that I don't even want to see. My time is saved as well. |

OT but one of the crappy things about living in CA is the poor coat selection. I need a new winter coat for the UK. I have 2 but neither are what I want to take. Going to at least take a look today but I doubt I'll find much here. I almost need to try it on rather than buy something online.

I am interested in the UK-Scotland promo spots -- Adam is really shows as part of Queen. It just makes it look long term, not like a one time, guest appearance -- even more so than they were back in March at the MSG press conference. Combining that promo spot with this tweet -- and a few comments that Bri and Roger has made recently -- sounds to me like they are game to do more. |
