Found an on line article that is dated June 24, 2009 where there is information about meeting Madonna so that might help point to a time line. Thanks! As I explained, I checked out the original Rolling Stone "Wild Idol" article and it already contained an account about the meeting by Adam himself. The interview was published on June 8th and another online article mentioned the interview already on June 2nd. What is even more interesting is that Adam said in another video interview that Monte told Madonna about Adam being on the cover of the Rolling Stone (which technically wasn't out yet - see above). Finally, Adam mentioned he went to her house in New York, so we needed a period when he was in NYC, making things even easier as we know exactly when he was there end of May... Ninja work is fun! I don't know if this has been mentioned already, but how about the full circle of meeting Pink randomly before Adam became well known to singing one of her songs, WWFM, that became a hit? I think it might have been pre-Idol.. www.youtube.com/watch?v=yZaspOqYCJY

ROB WELLS INTERVIEW: PRODUCER FOR JUSTIN BIEBER, ADAM LAMBERTzeddrecords.com/rob-wells-interview/Rob Wells is an award-winning producer/songwriter based in Toronto with a mile long list of credits filled with the who’s who of today’s music business. Some highlights include everybody’s favourite pop sensation Justin Bieber, Adam Lambert – who is now on tour as the singer for Queen’s comeback tour and several others including Cyndi Lauper, Selena Gomez, Backstreet Boys, Mika and so many more. I’m sure by now he has an entire room dedicated to awards received including first place in numerous songwriting competitions, SOCAN #1 awards, gold, platinum & multi-platinum certifications. We had an amazing conversation with Rob where he opened up about what makes him tick when deciding which indie artists we will work with and incredible stories from behind the scenes, including one about a song that was constantly rejected before getting cut by the Backstreet Boys. Listen on the embedded player below or click here to download the mp3 of this podcast. When did ROB Wells work with Adam? Greg Wells (a different man) worked on For Your Entertainment -- Strut, Broken Open, DTRH, CLYG. But Rob Wells? It is on this biography....but one Wikipedia the credit is linked to FYE and that is GREG Wells, not ROB Wells.

I just started listening to that Rob Wells podcast....it's kinda long. He just mentioned he's Greg Wells' brother and that they are both songwriters. I was hoping somebody had already listened thru it all to see if any Adam mention or mention of him working with his brother Greg.

Oooh, does this say good stuff?? Yes it does. From what I can read (not too good scan, alas) it says Queen met Adam first time at American Idol in 2009 and they sang famous song We Are the Champion together. And that Adam joined Queen again in 2011 at MTV EMAs in Belfast. The article then quotes Adam's line from the Pres Releasse: "On the technical side, it's definitely more of a production than two years ago", Brian's words: "We will play all our hits." And Roger's praise of Adam: "Each time we've worked with Adam with our music, he's just the most incredible front man," Roger Taylor says. "He's sensational. He has this amazing range, 'cause Freddie had a great range. Adam can really cover it. He's an extraordinary singer and a real talent. I feel he fits into our sort of theatricality. It is very comfortable.” The end of the article says Queen and Adam Lambert work together only for their live performances. And that Queen want to release their new CD Queen Forever in November.

I've checked the tickets for Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, and I can only find some VIPs, and most of them just one (not two together). So: heading very quickly towards a real SOLD OUT!! Am very happy, and a bit surprised that it happened that quickly. The German concerts that I looked at are doing ok, the very best seats are gone on the concerts that I checked, and the rest is slowly going as well. The GA part is always an unknown of course, it is either sold out or not, can't see how much tickets are left. I don't have much time now, but there is an excellent buy-on-map option (saalplanbuche) for anyone who wants to take a deeper look. www.eventim.de/queen-tickets.html?affiliate=VUE&doc=artistPages/tickets&fun=artist&action=tickets&kuid=61497And - surprise - I decided to keep my tickets for Brussels! There seem to be quite some tickets left there, but the whole site is a mystery to me. I can still get 2 tickets together on row 22 though, and I guess that means that there are quite a few left.
