I wonder if people think the concert is in the old arena ,which is pretty rubbish
This new arena built for the commonwealth games is fantastic
Amazing viewing from every seat .It's round and very steep .you fell right on top of the action
Great atmosphere .feels much like a small venue .have been a couple times
And much better than the long arena.s
The stage comes out into the middle .
Highly recommend

This is really really OT (sorry I'm kind of drunk...). But I'm a big fan of houzz.com. And one of their latest Ideabooks is on a "darkly romantic" style, and while it's not my style, it sure made me think of Adam and the few glimpses we've had of his home decor through the few photos we've seen that include his furnishings and his Tumblr musings... Sorry I can't figure out how to link with my iPad...there's that drunk thing again... (Alesmith Speedway Stout).

Also, huge kudos to Adam for changing his whole demeanor and adjusting it to the atmosphere of a song in one single movement - tipping of the hat. Talk about efficiency: that had to be the fastest switch of a clothing item from a fashion statement to a stage prop, a costume change if you like, I have ever seen. I would KILL for a gif of him tipping his hat. From cutesy and charming Elliott to dark, sexy and mysterious in a heartbeat My first gif, especially for you Aleks! Late to the party (working a lot..) but I LOVED the Trespassing - AOBTD medley. Did we talk about the similarities between those songs before? I can remember that before QAL even started there was an idea to put those songs together. Or maybe that was just wishful thinking on my part.
And I did like the guitar player. Yes, he made mistakes, but he caught most of them. And the most important thing: he listened to Adam, and looked at Adam, and followed him while at the same time trying to make his own sound. The chords he used for Trespassing sounded a bit weird though, but that could've been intentional, it reminded me of this:

Ah, thank you! I'm such a perfectionist that I look at that gif and only see that I wish I had an app to include more frames, that I could crisp the image up a bit, and alter the lighting to get rid of that flare. But I'll step back and just enjoy that marvellous man in that gorgeous hat. And keep on practicing at my gif making skills  |
