Also, huge kudos to Adam for changing his whole demeanor and adjusting it to the atmosphere of a song in one single movement - tipping of the hat. Talk about efficiency: that had to be the fastest switch of a clothing item from a fashion statement to a stage prop, a costume change if you like, I have ever seen. I would KILL for a gif of him tipping his hat. From cutesy and charming Elliott to dark, sexy and mysterious in a heartbeat My first gif, especially for you Aleks! Little bit late to the LP party. Always love acoustic Adam, love rocking Adam for that matter love any Adam singing anything I can get. I always have to laugh when he's doing acoustic because he sings with his whole being its so obviously hard for him to keep his ass stapled to a seat and sing. He's most comfortable when he can prowl and roam and bend and shimmy. I can sympathize because I find it much easier to think when I'm moving (reason #589 why I hate meetings)...
But back to performance - never been a big fan of Tresspassing the song but did like it pared with AOBTD and agree with Q3 could see Queen tearing that up on stage! OOL has never quite resonated with me, something melodically about it always hits me the wrong way but it was a lovely version. I have to wonder how he feels about having to sing WWFM for the rest of his life LOL. Would be great for him to have another top 10 hit if for no reason than he could then legitimately leave that out of these events :-)

This is really really OT (sorry I'm kind of drunk...). But I'm a big fan of houzz.com. And one of their latest Ideabooks is on a "darkly romantic" style, and while it's not my style, it sure made me think of Adam and the few glimpses we've had of his home decor through the few photos we've seen that include his furnishings and his Tumblr musings... Sorry I can't figure out how to link with my iPad...there's that drunk thing again... (Alesmith Speedway Stout). . also OT, but I've been browsing The Houzz app as well. Gorgeous ideas & pictures. And yes, I have occasionally thought a particular room would suit Adam. Fangirlness, it's a sickness, I tell you. |
