I must admit, I am floored by the US press the QAL appearance on XF UK is getting! Really surprised, in a very good way!

One of my all time fav Queen sites...although the owner does hate Adam lol...He was very slow to update the QAL stuff before...he is going to go to a few of the European gigs despite his dislike of Adam so maybe it'll change his mind - though I doubt it. The Real Wizard is a friend of mine...he is EXTREMELY knowledgeable...He actually doesn't really like Adam too much either BUT I look to him as an example of how an anti-Adam Queen fan should act. He is very graceful....He did enjoy the gig he saw... I have such great respect for him (The Real Wizard) because he is respectful of Brian and Roger, and Queen, and he is fair to Adam, plus he really does knows Queen-lore.

Nice it is Adam. *** I am watching the Christmas in Rockefeller Center show and hoping someday to hear Adam sing a holiday song.

I have taken many 'new' people to Adam and to Q+AL concerts. They have all enjoyed the show. I just do not expect everyone/anyone to see Adam live and turn into an insane Adam fan like me. And I make sure to only involved my husband in some of my insanity! I wish I could have a do-over with my husband... I would have not let on the extent of my interest. My only hope is that Adam has a song that makes it big and that my husband realizes he likes it before he realizes it's Adam. I do have one friend who likes Adam and I can talk about him with her, though I'm careful not to overdo it. I used to put Adam's performances, just a few, on FB, but that met with a resounding silence. Oh well! "Do-over" - too funny. I get a lot of "looks" from my dh and we laugh about it. He didn't go to QAL and I wasn't going to force the issue. TBH I only wish he'd take an interest so that I'd have someone at the concerts to go and get me my gin and tonics.

I have not yet attempted to take my husband to see Adam or QAL live. He knows how I feel about Adam, he sees the photo galleries I have saved on my ipad and computer, he sees me streaming the videos, he knows I need not be disturbed when I'm 'Berting'. I did take two of his friends to the second QAL show in Toronto. They were both die hard Queen fans (as I have been for many years), but they were not familiar with Adam. I remember having lunch with them the day before the concert and explaining to them how amazing he is and what to expect at the concert. I have to admit I was nervous as we sat in our seats waiting for the show to start - wondering how they would react. I glanced at them a couple of times during the show and knew they were enjoying it, but as we were leaving the show, my husbands buddy had a grin on his face a mile wide and leaned over and said "BTW you let us know when Adam goes on tour because we're going with you". I was sooooooo happy ! I have been a devoted Adam fan since his audition on Idol, and I have been a Queen fan since I was a teenager. Having them together is like my chocolate and peanut butter colliding !!!!!! I'm enjoying this ride so much. So many great things for Adam right now - he puts a smile on my face every single day.
