Guys, I really tried to get my brother on the QAL train but it's not working. I sent him the X Factor link on FB and here was his response: "Well, Brian and Roger were really good. Just can't get used to Adam. Sorry Col, I'm a Freddie snob." I guess the only saving grace is that he was nice about it, LOL. I tried! I understand what you're saying... my brother is one of the worst snobs. We normally share our taste in music, but with QAL it's a hopeless case *sigh*. We even had a very bad argument about it - LOL... And it drives me nuts that he doesn't get it. But - it's his loss!   |

Now these are "Melvin"-styles I love  . Scruffy and not dyed in a harsh black. Yes, I agree!! My favorite teeny-weeny Melvins are the one-day stubble.   |

Awww - I haven't seen the lower pic before, that's such an adorable look! I really love it as a bonus that such a beautiful soul with such an unbelievable voice has such looks *sigh*  I guess we're stanning the right celebrity! |

I have no idea who actually coined the term Melvin!! (sounds like something chunkeymonkey came up with!) It's been around for a couple of years now!   |

Just to add to the conversation. My Dad a Queen fan all his life. I went to the concert with my mum and dad. Hes kinda become an Adam Lambert fan haha. He randomly showed me on his phone Adam singing Wwtlf haha. So ppl who are purists or dont like current artists covering legends are not always classed as snobs. Or feeling entitled. My dad thinks Adams the best frontman Queens had since Freddie. Biggest Neil Diamond fan haha, whos coming to NZ next year incidentally enough.
