Do you ever find yourself doing mundane things and wondering if Adam has ever done them? I have a few chores around here that I'm almost positive Adam has probably never done. One is cleaning up after my dogs; although, with his Mom visiting with her dog, maybe he does go around and clean up after it. The second is stacking wood - now, I know this is an impossibility simply because of where he lives. But, he does have a fireplace now, so maybe. The simple task of stacking wood and the redundancy of the routine is in some ways like light meditation -- perhaps good for song writing. So go my random thoughts on a slow news day.

Saw this post by Mys*&@^#r after I left last night..talking about jetlag..OT but connected to Adam as he flew home on an airplane. Should cover my toush.. Viv: Don't know how anyone manages all those flights. I get jetlag going to Denver..  (one hour plus flight)

Had to bring it over as when I first moved here, the planes were so small going out of our regional airport, there were no potties, let alone pods. Truth. Had a couple ~interesting flights during that time.  lol |

Bout as mundane as he gets, I would guess. Food shopping. That's kinda mundane..dog doo-doo, don't see it. I don't feel so bad though, now, when my mind wonders about Adam's daily life.  |

Such a slow, slow day in Atop! Everyone must be out Christmas shopping. I mostly shop online these days and have found some really good deals. Listening to Adam's music is best with a really good set of headphones!!! I have tried a lot of different ones in different styles (over ear, on ear, in ear), with different connections (wired, bluetooth, other), and with different acoustic qualities (heavy bass vs. balanced over highs, mids, lows). Some choices are personal preferences, but other choices really make a big difference in sound quality. There are currently alot of good deals on headphones at Amazon. Just a guess, I imagine Leila cleans up after her dog and I'm sure his fireplaces in the den and up in his BR have gas logs or flames. I don't recall seeing a wood pile out back. lol. |

Since we don't have anything else to talk about, here is a loose translation of what is going on in the IWIA video. First they ask everybody to stand up, including the ladies and gentlemen in the upper rows. That is part of the preparations for shooting, not part of the show itself. So whether the audience is standing or sitting is pretty much pre-arranges by the production crew (since some people wondered about sitting vs. standing). Helene even commands them to go wild again as if they haven't seen her yet (and jokes that only her audience could manage to make it look natural on command). There is a short interruption in the recording, so it is not clear if these preparations are part of the Queen performance lead-in, but we can assume so if it was kept in the video. Then came the official introduction, which will probably be part of the recording and is sure to cause heart attacks in some Queen purists's chests: "... the last time they were guests on a German TV show was 10 years ago, so you can imagine how proud I am that they came exactly to my show tonight. Here are once again, the most legendary rock band of all times, Adam Lambert and QUEEN!" Notice the order of the names. Notice how AL+Q are announced as the most legendary band of all times. Even for me this is a bit wrong... But I can take it! Thankfully, at the end of the performance, she corrected herself and said "What an ending... with QUEEN and Adam Lambeeert!" Discuss! |
