And remember that if you shop through the portal on Atop, Atop does receive a small percentage. Helps pay for the page fees. :D

I did notice the Adam Lambert and Queen order, although I was oblivious to the legendary part. I felt an internal 'that was fun' and it did not bother me a bit. I also was unfazed by the reversal at the end.
Furthermore, I noticed a number of people dancing (especially one guy at the beginning as the camera panned down from the top) and some definite hand-clapping above the head during IWIA. You had to peek between the strobe of the lights.
I don't enjoy the negative comments either and because of that have totally quit reading reviews. I think Adam's performances are, in the vast majority, wonderful and that is good enough for me.

Deleted my post to Stardust, just in case anyone got the impression I was giving her a hard time. Never would I do that. I'm goofy sometimes, but can reel it in when I feel I go too OT.

Thanks for the translations and how Helene's show was set up, Kryptoman68! Good seeing you!! As for the order of how Helene intro'd QAL.. not touching that one.. Taking that post over to a Queen forum are you? Feisty, feisty... ROLF! Moi? I would never. I am one of those who get easily depressed from reading negative comments. So I don't go to Queen forums. And between this forum and my job, there is barely time left for anything Things were slow enough that I found myself wandering over to said forum. I was looking specifically at the NYE Gig thread and it was really interesting. The fact that they landed that gig really impressed that group and some who swore they would never go to a QAL event are going. Kicking and screaming but going. Their plan is to get so drunk they won't mind what they hear. LOL However DO NOT go to the thread where the headline is Brian said Queen as good as ever. Very very brutal. Normally I get depressed but it was so over the edge nuts that I was laughing.

Do you ever find yourself doing mundane things and wondering if Adam has ever done them? I have a few chores around here that I'm almost positive Adam has probably never done. One is cleaning up after my dogs; although, with his Mom visiting with her dog, maybe he does go around and clean up after it. The second is stacking wood - now, I know this is an impossibility simply because of where he lives. But, he does have a fireplace now, so maybe. The simple task of stacking wood and the redundancy of the routine is in some ways like light meditation -- perhaps good for song writing. So go my random thoughts on a slow news day. Adam stacking wood. Wasn't there this photoshopped pic (gross thing) of Adam as a woodsman? Ax and all? Anybody around that might remember it? I hooted. Adam stacks clothes, bb.. Bout as mundane as he gets, I would guess. Food shopping. That's kinda mundane..dog doo-doo, don't see it. I don't feel so bad though, now, when my mind wonders about Adam's daily life. Here you go Viv!

I'm still wanting details about him breaking down a door: He looked sooooo gorgeous here, and they asked him a question I posed on Twitter.

Since we don't have anything else to talk about, here is a loose translation of what is going on in the IWIA video. First they ask everybody to stand up, including the ladies and gentlemen in the upper rows. That is part of the preparations for shooting, not part of the show itself. So whether the audience is standing or sitting is pretty much pre-arranges by the production crew (since some people wondered about sitting vs. standing). Helene even commands them to go wild again as if they haven't seen her yet (and jokes that only her audience could manage to make it look natural on command). There is a short interruption in the recording, so it is not clear if these preparations are part of the Queen performance lead-in, but we can assume so if it was kept in the video. Then came the official introduction, which will probably be part of the recording and is sure to cause heart attacks in some Queen purists's chests: "... the last time they were guests on a German TV show was 10 years ago, so you can imagine how proud I am that they came exactly to my show tonight. Here are once again, the most legendary rock band of all times, Adam Lambert and QUEEN!" Notice the order of the names. Notice how AL+Q are announced as the most legendary band of all times. Even for me this is a bit wrong... But I can take it! Thankfully, at the end of the performance, she corrected herself and said "What an ending... with QUEEN and Adam Lambeeert!" Discuss! Ooh, I love getting these tidbits of information. Thanks, kryptoman68!
