Happy Wednesday. I didn't know what to expect when I stepped on the scale this am as I have been sick since last Friday. I have been eating bad things and not working out since last Thurs. I am down 3 for a total of 10.6 for month one. Feeling motivated and like I can actually do this !

I'm down .8 lbs for the week.
Budgeting So far so good. I think it is definitely making a difference because I am making myself fix my lunches more. Even though I was doing Planet Smoothie more often then junk Fast Food that wasn't any cheaper. Making my own definitely saves money overall. Although I really do need to look at what I'm spending on smoothie ingredients so I can figure out what the real difference is.

Hi All! Not so good this week. Just broke even. Unfortunately, my bad knee has gone bad and I'm walking with a cane! Argh!! It's so slow and awkward. Hopefully things will get better when I get used to it. :-S

I wasn't real bad this week, but I was not great either. I got into the Ritz crackers one night because I felt like I was starving. Luckily, I stayed the same this week.
I got the results of my stress test yesterday and they were good. Apparently, the exercising everyday is helping my heart so I feel good about that. I really need to stay on this diet. Sometimes I feel so deprived. Life without my favorite foods (sugar, pasta, etc.) seems really dull and boring. I miss simple bread and butter the most. Okay, Kathy, shut up now (this is me telling myself to think of something else).
See you all next week. I am going to really try hard to stay on task. Positive thoughts to all.

Miraculously, I remembered to weigh in this morning and it looks like I am down 1 lb - hard to be sure on my ancient analog scale... I've been very good this past week - recording every little bit into Lose It and coming in under calorie budget every day. I also managed to get into the gym 6 out of 7 days. Plus dancing to QAL vids

Friday Hip Exercise - the BridgeWhenever you are laying on your back and semi-resting between other exercises throw the bridge in there. It tucks your tush in and helps align everything. You can do sets or you can hold one for longer. B ring your heels closer to you in order to get a higher arch.To demonstrate here is Adam showing off and doing it on an uneven surface. It's much easier on your yoga mat.

Good Morning !!!!!! I was only down a half pound today - but I am pretty sure it's because I have been down with the flu for 10 days - some days I eat and some days I don't so I am sure my system is all over the place. Hope everyone is doing well !!!!

Shoot it's Wednesday - so much for my being speedy. I don't think any change for me, but I'm working on switching up some bad habits.

Missed check-in last week, but hadn't been very good either. Had a family situation that necessitated a last minute trip out of town for several days, and the eating plan went right out the window. Lots of rain here too lately so missed a number of walks. The result of all that is that I've gained 3 lbs. in the last 2 weeks. Ugh! Finding it more of a struggle this time than when I lost the 50 lbs. before, and with a birthday weekend coming up, don't anticipate a big loss next week either, but I am trying! Have to get my mindset back there!
