Jablea, thanks for pointing this out - despite having this performance virtually on 'repeat', I completely missed that!!

Both performances were stunning. Adam obviously asked for a pretty 'wet' sound - the reverb was sensational, his voice sounded incredibly full and powerful. Having such a high-quality performance video like this and the Summer Sonic video is making me even more excited for a DVD of this concert (aside from A3 of course, which I would have like for Christmas).

Unfortunately I am like that dog in the photo because even if I have one, it is one too many.

Sauli. I have only ever posted once on this topic after their relationship ended when some people were pretty upset. I don't like this brave new world where even minimum standards of privacy no longer apply. And I think all of our actions count. When we cross certain lines I think we lose the right to criticise others when they invade his privacy. It makes me cringe when inferences are drawn about 'friends with benefits', for example. I know that Adam is very sweet and chooses to see our behaviour in a certain way, usually with a positive motivation, but still .... I remember him saying that when people come up to him it would be really nice if they would interact with him as a human being first before asking for the photo/autograph etc (or something similar to that).

I'm not criticising yesterday's thread or any individual post. I am talking about my own lines in the sand and the reasons why as well as raising a general topic that there are certain things we can do that simply turn him into an object, where we de-humanise him for our own pleasure or other reasons.

I have watched the Helene Fischer videos over and over and over on my Christmas gift to myself...a new 26 inch monitor...Thanks to Bamafan for mentioning there was such a thing.

I spent a wonderful day with my daughter and her family. We watched the UK Xfactor and my granddaughter ohhh'd and ahhh'd over Adam. She saw QAL live and still talks about it.

And to make my Christmas complete, my Florida granddaughter is coming for a visit. SpinDance
