These are m4a audio files extracted directly form Tv Xtra and Mark Bowles YouTube videos in a way that preserves the audio quality of the YouTube video. m4a is the default audio format for all Apple devices (Mac laptops, iPhone, iPads, etc.). Most audio players will play m4a files. You can convert them to mp3, but the quality will be reduced and it really is not needed unless you have an audio player that will only play mp3. If the m4a will not work for you, let me know and I'll upload a mp3 version.
The audio quality from Tv Xtra's videos is better than the audio quality from Mark Bowles videos. However, there is a small glitch in The Show Must Go On from Tv Xtra's video. So I uploaded all songs from both sources.
The audio quality from Terra's video rip from the original web site is at least as good as the audio from Tx Xtra's videos, and I think a little better, and has no glitches. I asked her if she plans to split here video into individual song audio files and she said she would if no better audio/video shows up. So it may be a few days/weeks before this happens.
The above audio downloads should keep everyone happy until something better shows up! The tags are setup so that the audio files show up in an album in iTunes with all the correct information and album artwork.

These 1080p videos are in "ts" format which will play in VLC Media Player. They are screen capped from a TV. The 1st 45 seconds appears to be whatever was playing on TV before the start of the concert broadcast. These videos have the same glitch in TSMGO as Tv Xtra's YouTube videos, so my guess is that these videos are the original source for Tv Xtra's YouTube videos.
The Full concert video includes the full fireworks show. It also includes the first few notes of Bo Rhap that are missing from some of the YouTube videos. Although, the announcer is talking during the 1st couple of Bo Rhap instrumental notes. The Part 1 video cuts off just before the end of TSMGO. The Part 2 video includes only 2 minutes of the fireworks before the concert resumes.

Note on Terra's video downloads:
Terra's video downloads, which are in the "mp4" format, also include the first few notes of Bo Rhap that are missing from some of the other videos. Terra's video files are from the first version of the videos on the BBC web site which are of higher video and audio quality than the videos that BBC has now replaced them with. Terra also fixed some audio-video sync issues in the videos. If you want to make DVDs, I would suggest using the videos from Terra! The direct link to Terra's downloads is above in the opening post. Adam Lambert showered with praise after incredible collaboration with Queen for New Year's Eve celebrations

The singer joined forces with the huge rock band for a top performance ahead of the annual firework display
Adam Lambert joined forces with rock legends Queen last night for an incredible concert to mark the 2014 New Year's Eve celebrations - and Twitter loved every second.
The US singer and 2009 American Idol runner up was pitch-perfect as he took on some of the band's greatest hits in the BBC live show, including Don't Stop Me Now as Big Ben chimed 12.
He joined Brian May and Roger Taylor on stage and was greeted with huge applause from the 2000-strong crowd in the Central Hall in Westminster.
Drummer Roger said previously: "I never imagined we would be around to usher in the year of 2015, what a thrill! We promise you a great night."
The musicians were showered with praise throughout, with one Twitter user writing: "@adamlambert @queenwillrock happy new year and to a great 2015 to you and all the queen group and families and awesome gig last night."
Another added: "Queen featuring Adam Lambert last night were awesome. Nobody will ever replace Freddy but last night's show was incredible."
And one more wrote: "Not even two minutes in and I'm LOVING Adam Lambert... #queen."
The show - which was called Queen + Adam Lambert Rock Big Ben Live - was presented, alongside the fireworks display, by Radio One DJs Greg James and Gemma Cairney.

I attended the show......I think I was there.....its all like a dream......
Seriously I haven't come back down to earth yet which is why I haven't posted. Only got back from London a few hours ago.
It was breathtaking...ADAM was breathtaking...Glorious....exciting....confident...cheeky....happy....smiling....strutting....you just could not take your eyes off him.
the man is JUST SUPERB.
He didn't falter once.... he loved every second..you could tell.
Most of the people I talked to in the queue were Queen fans....never seen Adam so were curious. Remember Adam has never really been promoted here. I am always telling friends about him and most have never heard of him......Well I have had excited phone calls from several of those friends who watched him on NYE......they are all saying AWESOME !!!!
Met a few aforementioned Queen fans after the show.....they came IN Queen fans but they left the building ADAM fans...RESULT !!!!!!
I have watched the show now on Iplayer......wow the BBC did a really good job.....class act just like our boy.
BE STILL MY BEATING HEART........ couldn't sleep at the hotel last night...just too excited for Adam.....am I 15 or what.....???

NYE with Adam - a recap
I don't usually do recaps because I always find that everything I wanted to say has been said, more eloquently, elsewhere.
However - I'm feeling a bit of responsibility here, being a rare Atop representative in Westminster last night. I'll just write it as it comes...a recap of my evening with an eventual mention of Adam!! If it's too long, just think of it as all the recaps I've never written, in one.
Chapter One - WAR (pretty long and no Adam yet but lots of stress...)
It was a lovely clear, cold night and that part of London is so beautifully lit. Around the venue, with Big Ben looking on, were hundreds, even thousands, of people who didn't have tickets to get any closer to the river and the fireworks. I imagine most of them had no idea what was going on inside Central Hall as there was no advertising outside that I could see. A queue of QAL 'standers' snaked around Central Hall - perhaps 250 yards long. I had tickets for great seats but I also had a letter of authority to pick up tickets at the box office, from a US AdamFriend who couldn't fly over but had asked me to try to sell her tickets (or, ultimately, to give them away so they would at least be used).
To get to the Box Office desk for the spare tickets, I had to queue outside with the standers. I gave my two friends their seat tickets to go on ahead and kept mine, with its two drinks vouchers, in an envelope in my hand - my hand being what I considered to be the safest place. Do you get where this is going?
In the queue, I managed to find my old friend BristolGill. So beautiful and so bonkers in her flashing tiara
....We passed the time flailing and hugging but I think we were both secretly comparing weight gain since the summer - before helping a young lady infront of us to find her front tooth.... which was new that week apparently.... and which had fallen out and completely disappeared, mid-Queen flail. I couldn't make it up.The Hall really isn't set up for this kind of concert and it was more than an hour before we got into the foyer and, while others queued 20 minutes for a drink, I stood in another line for longer than that to pick up the 'spare' tickets. However, when I got outside to try to find a buyer for them, I realised that I no longer had my own ticket. My heart was banging in my chest...
I retraced my steps and even asked people in the WillCall line if they had seen a small white envelope. What was that about?...except that I was desperate. Eventually I barged to the front of the queue by nodding reassuringly that it was ok as I wasn't picking up tickets like everyone else.
In an in-tray full of waste paper, there was my envelope with the ticket still inside and only a little bit torn and bent.....I had put it down when I'd produced identification.
I have never tried to sell tickets at venues before. I wouldn't have bothered for myself but I wanted to do it for a friend. The queuing and bin searching had left me with about fifteen minutes. After a few half hearted accostings (I hit a patch where no one spoke English it seems); a couple of buyers who were going to be back in two minutes but weren't; and very interested people who wanted five tickets please, I gave up.
I offered the tickets for nothing which was the kiss of death....please take my tickets, please....
It was time to get to my seat so I asked the lady on the door if she would take the tickets and give them to anyone who turned up without. She told me she wasn't allowed to take the tickets. A young man interrupted and I joyfully said 'yes, take the tickets, free' - only to be presented with another one - he had a spare and thought I might find someone who wanted three!
NOOOOO!
The door lady suggested I take them to the WillCall desk and leave them to 'gift' to latecomers.
BUT THEY WOULDN'T TAKE THE BLASTED THINGS EITHER!!! I have no idea....
By now I was tired and alone and losing the will to go on. I hadn't seen my friends for an hour and I was being forcefully herded to my (lovely) seat....and Adam...
With a heavy heart, I put these precious tickets in my bag and there they are now....don't judge me.

I was a little surprised that QAL didn't do a kind of warm-up song or two to get the audience going before it all went live on air.
It seemed very sudden that they all appeared on stage and within a minute it all kicked off. From a standing start to break-neck speed. I couldn't see any sign of nerves.
What was truly amazing was how INSTANT it all was. Adam's presence seemed to fill the room immediately; he seemed to just grab it and everyone in it from the get-go by sheer confidence, force of personality and charm. He was so deliberately controlled and controlling in that opening song - like, I'll make sure you know who I am before we go any further. I'll get your attention and keep it.
They didn't need to ease themselves into the performance; they didn't need to warm up the audience. In fact, it was better this way - it's as if we were taken by storm and the reaction from the crowd was so spontaneous and total, like it burst out of them.
And Adam was so cool and confident and sexy and commanding - you can see all that from the videos but in the flesh it was really something!
It's perhaps a cliche to say people were born to perform or that they belong on stage - but he clearly was and does. I have seen him live so many times but this was very different; this was total control and although he will always be a generous team player, he was undoubtedly the star. The arena shows are about three men but this felt suddenly all about him. That was the thing that I took away from this - that he had transcended, not Brian and Roger, but his role as 'the new boy'....
I wonder if Roger and Brian are wondering, in the nicest way, what they have played such a big part in unleashing.
Far from making Adam more a part of Queen - I felt he was more Adam Lambert than ever.
He held himself like the star he is in his own right - which he hasn't always done with QAL - in my opinion!
This was a Queen audience. I sat infront of five male longtime Queen fans in their forties. They were shy and polite; they'd seen YouTubes of QAL and thought 'he' was ok. They didn't stand for the first 20 mins or make much noise but though I can't remember exactly when, there was a moment when I felt them all jumping to their feet as one and cheering loudly. Can't give you a goosebump inducing quote from them but they thought Adam was 'really good'. They were happy and grinning.That's enough.
My seat was next to the VIP boxes, directly opposite the stage. Last year One Direction were there (not that I would have been too excited - but at least I would have known who they were) but this time I didn't know who any of them were except for Anita Dobson, Brian's wife. She seems so lovely; she sat right forward in her seat every time Brian had a solo bit. He must have been able to see her clearly.
It was a stunning evening; beautiful in every way. Perhaps the most memorable live performance for me....until the next one
