LOL, my first thought when they cut the feed after the concert was they didn't want Dr. Bri to make a political statement but then I thought, that's just ridiculous. I think Brian just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year! If he had a chance to speak, I imagine it was to say Happy New Year and to gush about Adam. |

Adam really seemed more front man than ever before on NYE. He just commanded that stage. And Brian and Roger felt it too. If I see it correctly at the end of the show Adam tried to get Brian and Roger to take a separate bow, just the two of them, as usual. And for the first time, Brian just refused. And after that he started hunting for a working microphone. My guess is that his words would've been: 'ladies and gentlemen: Adam Lambert!!!'
Maybe this new self confident that came out as arrogant to some people. But hey if you are fronting a legend band like Queen you need those high self confident, because it's easy to feel intimidated on stage and by the crowd.

Oh I can felt it from the first time I saw his audition singing BhoRep, told myself that he's the only one who can sing those huge catalogue. During AI season 8, a lot of people had that same feeling that he meant for Queen and they all wanted him to sing Queen songs on AI stage. One of San Diego TV reporter literally asked him to do it during his interview. I was and am so glad that Adam never did sing Queen songs during the competition because he didn't want to sounds alike. Otherwise people would say a lot of thing like trying to get audition for Q frontman, or anything bad. And off course after they watched them together on the night of finale all the rumors flooding the media.

Google trending searches for Thursday, 1 January 2015 now showing Adam as #1 search with 500,000+ searches. The site says it was updated about 13 hours ago. The #2 search is BBC Sport with 200,000+ searches at 4:15 PST. www.google.co.uk/trends/hottrendsThat is really fantastic. More than twice the number of searches of #2. Sort of like all the searching that went on during AI. |
