Q3, great categories! I especially like the "rare song" one! very clever. I noticed WLL from Fantasy Springs 1 is missing although I remember two nominations for it. Can it be added in please? thanks. The Telegraph article is one of the best imo: Informative, intelligent and insightful. So rare to see lately. Thank you pi and queenofthenight for bringing various images! Check page 1 in about 10 minutes! I have one more category to add.

Siobhan @66shevpf Editors letter "Astrophysicist May knows a star when he sees one" I see what they did there As for the interview itself, I can't see a damn thing, but yesss @ them using a photo of Freddie's Mediterranean prawn suit. My day is already made.
I love it! I think this is the first time I read that Brian said about Adam's technical ability in singing. I love it when people recognizing his out of the world technic in singing especially in current music industry. I guess both of the legend can see that from the first time they saw him in YT.

Here in Portland, we have a store which has most of the major papers and magazines from all over the world. If you are near a big city there is probably one there. You could try online to their website and you may be able to get a back copy. Here you go:- A. For back issues of The Daily Telegraph or The Sunday Telegraph, please contact Back Issue Newspapers. Phone: 0844 669 9400 (lines open Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm, Saturday 9am-1pm) Website: www.backissuenewspapers.co.ukLooks like the paper is 9.99 pounds and another 10 pounds to ship to the US.. That's an expensive newspaper! But I really do want one. LOL

Love reading this article! I am struck again by Adam's courage combined with hard work. He reads those nasty comments from "diehard Queen fans". Is he hurt? Maybe. Does he quit? Never! He steps up to the plate and works even harder! This is why he keeps getting better and better. Adam Lambert will never, ever be boring. When I was a newbie stan, Paula told Adam, "Fortune favors the brave." Should be " the brave shares a fortune"!
Agree 100%! I think the burden for Adam's not the "anti-Adam-QAL" Queen fans but the catalogue it self. These are iconic songs sang and played by the iconic singer and band. And Adam had/has to sing them in front of the two iconic and legend musicians Brian and Roger. He wants to do them justice for the band and for himself and his standard. We know he's "kinda " perfectionist.

In the article, Adam says he had difficulties with DSMN, but listening to it again, I'm curious where he might have had difficulties.. I don't hear any particularly high notes that might have been difficult.. any thoughts? www.youtube.com/watch?v=VsUSy5GwMeY
In 2012 short tour. Looks like he's more relax and do it his way instead of the recording's way.

A nice article. Except this one part: "Yet if Lambert has not quite become the superstar many predicted, it may also be because his contrived brand of glam-inflected pop is not individual or characterful enough to really warrant world domination" ... oh well. Maybe painful, but just the plain truth - IMHO WHAT? REALLY? From Webster: CHARACTERFUL
: having interesting or unusual qualities : having character Full Definition: 1: markedly expressive of character <a characterful face> 2: marked by character <a characterful decision> Adam's music is not "CHARACTERFUL"? It is just the OPPOSITE! -EVERY song (with the exception of the idiotic singles) is FULL of CHARACTER! Name one NOT characterful (aside from the singles - those are most definitely "not characterful" and perhaps those are the only ones the author heard )! INDIVIDUAL
: of, relating to, or existing as just one member or part of a larger group : having a special and unusual quality that is easily seen : intended or designed for one person HOW is this applicable? the variety of music on his records is what bothers the public? if nothing else - that quality IS "individual"... In other words - HELP! konata - I haven't seen you posting in a while! WELCOME BACK!

^ I actually think the Freddie Mercury Great Pretender connection was what was meant. Freddie described himself as The Great Pretender after releasing the single....stating he felt the song was written for him. Someone who may have had a lot of heartbreak behind the scenes, but in public he was still Freddie f-n Mercury...since as always The Show Must Go On. So Freddie is TGP and Adam is filling in, he must be the Young Pretender.... Adam has always been AFL - Adam Fucking Lambert That covers all of the above easily.... The face (as in public persona), the person, the singer, the actor, the child, the lover, the friend, the uncle, the star, the musician, the stand in .....

Overall, a decent article from the Telegraph. ----------------- I have a great deal more sympathy for those trying to keep up with Adam and ATop on their phones and tablets. (I have dead battery on my laptop and have resorted to toting my Kindle around.) It's like trying to read through Swiss cheese, only there are more holes than cheese and there are fireworks. ---------------- OTSpeaking of fireworks, we had a spectacular and deadly freeway pileup on Friday during a whiteout. 150 cars, trucks carrying toxic chemicals, and a truck carrying 40,000 lbs. of fireworks! (My 2 youngest drove through the storm, but thankfully weren't near the accident.) www.wxyz.com/news/accident-closes-westbound-i-94-between-battle-creek-and-kalamazoobit.ly/1sma5IL
