so awesome! I wish our old US of A could embrace something like this! LOVE IT! EU FTW!!!! Pretty sure this is their manuel for the tour, for the participants. Not the program! As usual I am hours behind in reading, and someone else has probably already responded....yes, mys*&@^#r is correct. Back in the 90's I was in charge of fan club tour ticket coordination for a major artist and these Tour Itineraries are given to everyone connected with the tour. I have one for each of the tours and they are basically all the information everyone needs to know regarding tour logistics. (I am surprised they are still done this way considering the technology of the day). So I had to go looking for one to see what all was in it back then. Scroll alert if not interested calendar of all dates on the tour complete list of tour personnel tour related office contact info for things like trucking, buses, communications, freight etc. a page for every day of the tour These pages contain in great detail: All travel modes and info for the different personnel, band etc... who is coming in from where, who is meeting them etc. Hotel info for the different groups...A hotel, B hotel and Crew hotel with descriptions of all amenities for each. Promoter info for each city Venue info for each city Times for load in, sound check, door, band and curfew Limo info after show travel info There is even a page for each 'off' day and what is happening... Ok, sorry if I bored everyone. It just all brought back a lot of memories.

I was thinking about every discussion about Adam not only in connection with Queen. Voice is almost always a first argument, then his looks or his good nature but his music is rarely mentioned. It's just observation. I'm just wondering not criticizing Adam or fans. I want to chip in here. Adam's voice is his single most special (or, as they say in the article, "individual and characterful") attribute. It's unique, incredibly techinically sound, and the reason why 99% of us fell in love with him in the first place. Adam's looks are also pretty special. Even now that's he's dropped the painted look almost entirely and he may not be as "unique" looking as he was on idol, he's an incredibly gorgeous man, and that is very clear to many people who saw him for the first time in NYE. Adam's good nature is yet another special attribute of him. A personality like his is a very rare find in the world of celebs, and I think most of us realize just how lucky we are to be stanning such a sweet guy. This guy with this otherwordly voice and striking good looks is nicer than people with less than half of his talent. Adam's music...I hate to say it...is not special ("individual and characterful"). Especially the songs that have been released as singles. If I were hearing any of those singles on the radio without knowing who the singer was, I would say, "oh look, more generic pop music. Next." Somehow, his singles have hidden all that we find special in his voice. They are not new or interesting at all. Rather than embracing his uniqueness that earned him so many fans on Idol, they mask it in an attempt to get him to blend in with previously successful pop stars on Top 40 radio. Many of his album tracks are a huge step above his singles, but even they don't completely highlight exactly what we love about our guy. I've grown to like most of his music, but for me, a good number of songs weren't love at first sight. I'm not even someone who hates pop music - I just feel that with Adam's songs in particular, there's a disconnect between the quality of the songs and the quality of the voice singing them. I don't care what direction genre-wise Adam decides to go with A3 - it can be rock, pop, funk, whatever. I just hope that his music is that which makes him stand above other modern singers; not blend in with them.

I agree mys*&@^#r...but he DID say it and we do know....can't undo things... In some ways, that is exactly my point...and if he wants the world to love and accept him as we do, he has to be a little more reticent about saying/showing these things. If that 'world domination' is not his goal, then, CARRY ON.....we will continue to love him regardless. All I am trying to say is that it really is his choice to make... now for sure, BBL Sorry to disagree here but world domination is NOT achieved by bowing down to the masses. It is achieved by sticking your ground until the masses come to you. Madonna, Bowie, MJ, Elvis, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, U2 all became iconic by being and doing their own thing, not by dumbing themselves down to appeal to the masses. They won their audiences and that is what Adam has been doing all along, winning his audience by being true to himself as much as he could be. His voice is his instrument and that is what wins him fans. For me his music IS his voice and I could care less what the instruments are doing. I like some arrangements better than others but to me that is all production as far as I'm concerned and doesn't make or break the song for me. But everyone listens to music for different things. People who are dance oriented care more about the background, the beat, the grove. People who are guitar fans care most about the guitars, etc. For me a song is all about the lyrics, the vocal, and the emotion. The reason I don't care what Adam sings is that whether the song is his or someone else's and no matter what the lyrics he can make me hear it in a new way every time he sings it. I love the songs Adam writes because the lyrics make sense, are thought provoking and full of complexity. But to be quite honest I will still be an extremely satisfied fan even if he decides he is no songwriter and just sings. Because whether it's an original he wrote, or a song someone else wrote, or a cover we've heard a zillion times whatever he sings is still uniquely him. He is no less of an artist singing a song someone else wrote than he is singing his own songs. I find it incredibly insulting to him when people insinuate that he's not a real artist because his songs are not "hits". That's NOT what defines an artist. Sure I want him to be successful and I'd love to see "world domination" but if it doesn't happen it is not an indication that he is not a great artist. There are incredibly gifted artist all over the world who NEVER achieve fame and recognition but none of that devalues their art. Also when did people forget that "entertaining" is in itself an art. Being able to engage an audience is an art form in its own right. Being a songwriter or a musician doesn't automatically make you an entertainer. That showmanship is art as well and no less important than the material. The greatest songs can still be crap if the performer doesn't have the artistry to communicate them to the audience. So yes we do defend him based on his voice because saying he isn't any good because his own songs aren't hits is a crap argument. I don't have to like a song to recognize the talent of the artist performing it or the person who wrote it. That's something people seem to have a hard time with. It's easy to say something is crap when we don't like it but just because we don't like something doesn't make it bad.
