There seems to be an audio stream now for Newcastle. Hoping there'll be one for Glasgow. I would have loved to do it but would have no idea - I've never even used Internet on a phone...

No, no, no, no, no! It's been drizzly, windy, sheeting down and all sorts of generally sheeety stuff. And I'm down in the South where it's usually measurably better than oop north . bama, did you see my post in the London O2 thread?

I finally got my mother into smart androids. To learn about she bought herself a Dummies book especially for that model. I probably should borrow the book because I mostly still use mine just as a phone. Oh and there was an article in AARP not long ago about celebs who still used flip phones to save money. Don't get me started on my dad and the difference between google, yahoo, and the internet and that's just on the computer. Oh and Sophie, don't worry about adding your twitter account on the list unless you plan on using it during or immediately following the concert and will have time to practice using it from your phone. Unless you want your name in there just to prove you are going. There's always that.

It looks about the same as Ohio right now. I was thinking I might be going somewhere warmer! We kind of have two storms here in Ohio and both are baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaddddddddd: 1. Snow, ice and super cold. 2. OSU! The whole state is covered in scarlet, gray and white for OSU tonight. :( I work for a not-competive but rival Ohio State University System school and everyone here is wearing OSU stuff. It is like being in some Alice in Wonderland world. The worst of it is that OSU's school colors are red scarlet, dark gray and white, so every store is filled with cakes and cupcake with scarlet, dark grey and white frostings, we have scarlet and dark gray donuts, we have f'ing scarlet beer, this place is f'ball crazy! They have stacked our stores high with OSU stuff including buckeye necklaces! >> Dark grey icing and frosting and glaze is NOT appetizing. >> I went to a meeting today and was given a dark gray cookie. I used to not have a horse in this race. I am now rooting for Oregon tonight! >> All I can say is why the f' couldn't Bama have beaten OSU. Now, returning to our normal Adam news....

We had two storms already in the last week and I'm getting fed up with it. Not to mention the fact that one of the Dutch Glamberts I know is going to the O2 show... and she's travelling by boat. Won't be an easy journey. I'm not in the UK, but usually we get the same weather in the Netherlands, but a little later and a little warmer. So that means rain and wind this week. Not as dramatic mostly as in that article, but not very pleasant either. Forecast says it's going to be better starting this weekend. Fingers crossed. Otherwise Adam will just have to keep us warm (hot). 17 more days until my first QAL show in Europe!
