Oooh, this is a new one to me. Fascinating because it is basically Adam's vocals up front and personal. The only instrumentation is a bass line (electronic keyboard?) and a drum beat. And it sounds like basically a raw feed of the vocal. No reverb or special effects. Does anyone have more info on this? Adam messing around on his computer? A recording session? It's going on the iPod now.

Wow, it is really windy here in NYC. It's whistling outside my windows. Poor Sauli. Not a very nice welcome to the city. correction: howling, not whistling. Sauli is from Finland, do you think he would be unused to cold weather ? Didn't think of that But he is so tiny he might get blown away by today's wind.

Ok - I admit defeat. My opinion was an unpopular one and you are right. :-[ But I'm still impatient. :D JazzRocks- You can be both unpopular and right, bb! Or at least right for you. And I'm impatient too. I just want him to have both a life and a career- I really believe he can do both.

I love going to New York, but I doubt it is much fun for Katri and Sauli to be visiting all the wonderful places and filming them in the howling wind and rain. I do hope this terrible storm moving up the East coast goes away quickly so that they can enjoy their visit. Finland is cold but I don't think they get tornado weather there. Adam sure held our interest this afternoon. It was great as this was one boring Saturday. Happy to have a place to read Thanks for explaining, sounds like this is more than just cold East Coast April weather... Yes, this storm is not our typical weather. However, we do get our fair share of rain. I never realized that NY'ers were used to rain until I took some out of town training a number of years ago. The group was going to go out after class but wouldn't go because it was raining. Wut? A little rain is going to stop you from going to the bar for drinks?

My impression was that it was just a demo recording--probably done himself, because it is low quality. Maybe someone else knows more.

Sauli is from Finland, do you think he would be unused to cold weather ? Hahaha!! I was thinking the same thing with Katri's blog. She talked about the Grand Canyon being freezing. My first thought: Katri, you live in Finland, how cold can the desert be? And yes, the desert does get very cold at night, but "very cold," probably means 42F or so. If they weren't prepared for it, I understand, but that has nothing on the -4F range. Okay, I checked, it is getting as low as 32F (freezing) at the Grand Canyon these days. LOVED that radio show!! I had stream issues, but kind of got into a rhythm with it. I never knew about that studio acoustic version of "Crazy." OMG!!! They did say it was recorded in studio.
