Thanks for the regular reminders house lady. I was thinking about a couple of things that are occurring in technology at the moment and wondering how it will work out. There are higher and higher capabilities for extraordinary clarity and data capacity that developers love to take advantage of. Content is being created that is quite magnificent. On the other hand, consumers of that content are moving more and more towards using smaller devices such as iPads and minis and smart phones to view this content. The end result can be consumers getting frustrated with that content and deserting it. What brought this to mind, of course, is that this voting site is nearly impossible to access and vote from on an iPad...mine at least...If you have the patience of Job to slowly wait for each vid to load to get to the voting area, it is possible and I have done it the odd time...but it is too frustrating so I usually don't even try. Many of the front pages of this forum are difficult as well...attention to eliminating the reposting of gifs really helps but the long filled posts of the front page can still be an issue. I often go straight to the second page...it saves my blood pressure. I am just commenting...not at all complaining about here....generally this is a great site...I just see these issues as getting worse generally, until someone comes up with a solution. I do confess to really hating the pro boards app which tries its best to make you access here on in rather than through a browser [on your iPad] grrrrr... , I have a new iPad and I have no problems with either thing you mentioned. For voting, I leave a tab open for voting and have never experienced waiting for the vids to load. I just refresh right after I vote and then I'm ready to vote an hour or so later with no delay. I use Chrome, so I don't know if that makes any difference. Hmmm I don't know then...tho I have an iPad 2..bought it just as the 3's were coming out and got more storage etc for same price so did that...my computer has no problems but the iPad sure does. Other's here have said the same so it is not JUST me but could be just we po folk...no idea. And that is ok...I just feel guilty about not voting here. That said, other voting sites are not difficult so it is not the voting but the loaded page that is causing the problems. no biggie... |

It could be the differences in people's wifi connections that exacerbates these problems. I use the Safari website, not the mobile app, on my iPad 2 or 3, can't remember which, and usually don't have too much trouble, but occasionally the page does bog down when there are a ton of videos and gifs. |

Bears is a designation for a particular look in gay men. Think big hairy guys, the teddy bear type. Twinks are skinny little boyish looking guys, etc. So Adam saying he's not into bears is a double entendre referring to his "type" preference. As we all know he's really in to "pretty androgynous elves". LOL |

For merch, standard calculation is $5 per head at 8,858 people show x 8 = $354,320 (yes, some of those shows did not draw that much, but online merch roughly fills the gap). That gets us to $1.479m, call it $1.5m. We weren’t able to get precise record sales data from his team or label this year, so we estimated 500,000 TEA sales (one-third of Kelly Clarkson) at a royalty rate of $1.75 = $875k. Round up to $1m to account for streaming payments and work with Avicii, and you get $2.5m total. That’s not counting the one Queen show he did in our scoring period, but we round up or down to the nearest half million on this list. I hope this restores your faith in Forbes!
