Okay, my new stanning FB is Lynne Atop if anyone wants to add me as a friend.
In other news, my grandson, who doctors predicted would walk late, and possibly only with physical therapy, due to a syndrome he was born with in which his stomach muscles never developed, took his first steps today at 13 months! Amazingly, he is hitting all his marks within the normal range, although with our genes, he probably is late since his mom walked the first day of her 8th month, and her brothers were off and running (literally) at 9 months.
We are celebrating the continuing good news of this very precious and much appreciated youngest member of our family. I feel so much joy and gratitude tonight, and because
many of you were there to help me through the initial rough times, and so many shared virtual love and support with me last year in the middle of Falling Springs flailing, I wanted
to share his progress, and my joy, with those of you shared your strength and support back then.
Sorry ahead of time for going off topic.
How 'bout that Adam Lambert!!!!!!! ;D

OK...I thought that looked like a good idea so I started to create a new facebook acct. as Mszue Atop and it wanted to go grab my rl email acct even though I have another email address I used.....
This is why my students are using Facebook as their ethics case study on privacy and confidentiality!! AAAAARRRrrrrggggghhhhh!!! Lynne...I 'searched' your stan name to add and it did not show up! :-(
I will go try again. And/or you can add me: Mszue Atop...and any one else....:-)

It's unbelievable, being a grandma. I never knew; never imagined.
So much has happened for me - just when I thought the 'best years' had passed.

I did not have any trouble, using my stanning email.. which I created on gmail quite a while back. Also, I signed out of my r/l FB account before I logged into the new one, just to be safe... didn't want any crossover. People make all kinds of FB accounts all the time. I have closed it a couple of times already....sheesh. I have no issues with any of you knowing many if not most of my intimate details...given my life is pretty mudane I really don't have much to hide. But i sure don't want my students poking about the site.....good grief...I will work with it for a day or two and if I can't get a handle on the privacy issues, I will try...operative word bring try..to abandon it. Hehe...I put my highschool as American Idol High and my alma mater as Planet Fierce/Adamtopia! hahaha...if several put those same instutions in their profiles, Facebook would help us 'find' each other!! |

I don't think I can handle another social media site. I'm not too fond of Facebook to begin with. Love Atop and Twitter. Why are you all doing Facebook for stanning? Is there some advantage? ETA: Lynne, wonderful news about your grandson. My son walked at 13 months too, so your grandbaby is totally within normal range.  |
