It's finally my show tomorrow. Hurrah! I'm going to try streaming it (wish me luck!)
A friend of my husband went to Leeds and put this on facebook:
"So, dear (Facebook) friends... if you think that going to see Queen without Freddie is like having crackers without cheese, I implore you to think again. That was vying with Madonna's Confessions tour and P!nk's The Truth About Love for gig of a lifetime. Here are my thoughts.
1. Apologies to Prince, Russell, Joseph, Robert and David, but one of you is bumped from my laminated list for Adam Lambert. I realise that all Adam and I could do is lounge around on a sofa brushing each others' hair and exchanging bitchy comments about bigots, but it would be worth it.
2. Brian May, you fabulous man, you are rocking that Dobson 'do with grace. Your Brighton Rock solo was phenomenal, but what impresses me even more is that even after the stylist had talked you into wearing that gold lamé number, you continued to wear your Pound Shop lookin' bright white sneakers.
3. Roger Taylor looks like Santa now. But I still definitely would."
There is then lots of comments from other people saying they saw them on NYE, or went to the 02, etc. and have fallen in love with Adam.
