This is a great KQ where you can see the reaction of the guys up front and Adam's Freddie/freedom speech is on it too. Gelly @14gelly 12m12 minutes ago Watching these men in front of Adam , idk I have a huge smile on my face like them, maaaaan I LOVE it!! www.youtube.com/watch?v=WjRwtjcYTdE …
Thanks for posting that. Very fun. Looked like one guy was reaching up with his arms waiting to get spat upon. Hope he got wet.

Excuse the 13 year old boy in me: Adam: Who farted? Brian: Wasn't me!
... it's so PERFECT. You should make it as a caption. LOL

Continued from earlier topic - singing and drumming at the same time, just a few thoughts I had. ...... It also explains, why Roger feels so uncomfortable to sing in front of the stage, because for him singing is reduced to his lungs only, leaving the rest idle and therefore exposed. I wanted to say thanks for such a detailed and thoughtful post. I learnt a lot from it. At one of my concerts Adam was late coming down the catwalk for UP and Roger was looking around almost semi-panicked. He didn't relax until Adam had assumed his usual position with direct eye contact after a couple of bars of music. I also didn't realise at the time the extent of Roger's hearing loss, which I've since read about. Roger has very little stage presence as a soloist singer on a large stage - he sang Magic very well at my concerts, but he looked incredibly uncomfortable and couldn't get back behind his drums fast enough. He sang at the audience, rather than to and with them, if that makes sense. One of my Queen fanatic friends who was at the concert with me was hoping Roger would sing Radio Ga Ga. He changed his mind and felt Adam did a much better job just from a performance perspective, although he would have loved just to have one more song from Roger.

Roger is definitely not a performing lead vocalist...it works much better for him to be singing/drumming at the same time or to be singing in a much lower key situation. He also seems to perform a bit better with a guitar in his hand. Cyberbarn AKOM w/PR The Cross - Man On Fire 1990 (that long haired keyboardist? Spike Edney ) Show Must Go On - another smaller venue Finally - the song in question...this time with Brian...and a little Paul STILL...I still would like to see him get ONE more song at these gigs - cause performing or not, I love his gruff vocals (NOTE I don't want to take a song from Adam...just add one more song...)

Oooo, that last video of UP is rough! I like Roger's Radio Gaga though. His voice really reminds me of Bob Seger, who I love!
