I think it is actually nice that the threesome that is leading the idol-alum pack, will all have a single out and later an album. These 3 are more and more putting distance between the three of them and the rest of the field, and in that sense, they will be lumped together in articles and other places where references are made. And presently, this is good for Adam, because in the public perception, it is still presumed that at the top there is a duo (Carrie and Kelly). The writing is on the wall that 2015 will be the year, where this idol perception will be altered and the proper world-order will be established.

I haven't seen many albums where the title is not a track on the album. So my guess is, this is one of the tracks, but NOT the first single! Still a leap since we do not have any album track titles. Yes, it is common that . And Adam's first two albums had an album title track but it is more common not to have a track on the album with the same name as the album title. So he could do it again. An album title that is also a track on the album is done but not as common as I thought before I looked. For example -- in the current Billboard 200 top 10 albums -- 80% do not have a track with the album title's name: Taylor Swift 1989, Ed Sheeran X, Joey Bada$$ B4.Da.$$ (Before Da Money), Nickie Manaj The Pinkprint, The Decemberists What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World, Marilyn Manson The Pale Emperor, Sam Smith In The Lonely Hour, and Mark Ronson Uptown Special.
It is the same for albums #11-20. I remember Adam saying before FYE was released that he liked albums that were named after a song on the album so not a coincidence that the first 2 albums followed that. Whether TOH will.... |

JMHO but I think you might be right about Adam and Sauli relationship. Still I'm very happy everytime I see them together. Though just as very good friends.  A week ago Sauli said in an interview: " I can say that Adam is a really dear person to me and all… yeah." . I think it’s a remarkable statement considering how restrained Sauli has always been about his relationship with Adam. Thank you for the info bobo. |
