What? No. Adam never had an accident that I know of. He traded it in for the BMW. Said in an interview that friends were making fun of him still having the Mustang!
There was some talk at some time about car damage. Assumed it was the Mustang.
Since it was his prize car didn't think he would get rid of it unless something was wrong with it/happened to it. However, while I stan many things about Adam his old cars are not among them so I haven't paid much attention
I vaguely remember something about the car being in the shop or something but assumed it was typical crummy US vehicle maintenance/repair issues. I assume driving around the LA area wears things out pretty quickly.
In this article, the author is writing about bands and groups who have replaced critical members because Blink-182 is replacing Tom DeLonge with Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio for their upcoming tour.
The article is titled "The Good, The Bad And The Downright Bizarre: 13 Singers Who Replaced Massive Frontmen And Frontwomen" but they do not classify the 13 examples. It is just a photo gallery with brief comments.
JMHO I think the fact that one of the world's most iconic English frontman was replaced by some singer discovered by the band because the singer auditioned with the band's most famous song on American Idol is in the bizarre category. The fact that he did not win his season of American Idol just makes the story that much better.
I also think that Adam becoming frontman for Queen is now the most famous replacement frontman story -- certainly the most topical in January 2015 on the eve of the Q+AL UK Tour.
Where is the snark in this comment? It is not snark. It might be irony, but not snark. [Please do not answer my question, it is intended to be rhetorical.]
And where is the critic of Adam or lack of respect? [This is also a rhetorical question.]
Brian May himself said that he first became interested in Adam after someone played his audition video for him.
When they make the movie of Adam's life --- and I am sure they will do that someday --- this strange story of Adam and Queen and the Idol Audition video will be a great scene.
JMHO I think the Idol Audition and Adam ending up as Queen's frontman garnering rave reviews is the stuff that is usually only in movie scripts, not in real reality. But in the movies, like "Rock Star" [2001], there is usually a tragic ending. This one appears to be headed for a Hallmark "mega happy ending" -- meaning the show will go on.

I just don't think posting links to reviews on articles that are less than complimentary towards Adam does him any good. It makes his fans look reactionary and defensive. Not everyone is going to love him and not everyone has to love him and IMO it's time that Glamberts start letting everyone have their own opinion without trying to "change/convert" people to their way of thinking.
Adam has an excellent team of professional people on his side. He doesn't (again IMO) need a "fan army" of online fans who jump on every comment/article to correct the writer's point of view.
I am going to somewhat disagree.
Please note that I am now talking IN GENERAL and not about today's old article. I am also giving my PERSONAL OPINION and not representing any official policy of this board (#legaldisclaimer). And to top it off I'm bored in a waiting room so I'm going to comment on a topic I normally wouldn't (#you'vebeenwarned)
There are times when comments to an article show that people are paying attention. That people care about the topic or individual being discussed. And if those comments are reasonable, rational, and factual I see nothing wrong with them. Adam fans have a reputation for being passionate yet nice. I SEE THIS AS A POSITIVE. Loyalty without rudeness signals that Adam is cared about without pissing people off. People who aren't cared about don't get comments.
And I'm done fighting my cell phone's stupid autocorrect, so ending here.
I am with Hoppers on this one....on both points. I had cell phone autocorrect!!
And, more importantly, I think fans should do what they think is best and comment on articles when and how they believe it is appropriate.
But I also think that sometimes many of us, including me, can overreact when Adam is involved. Passion can cut two ways.
On more than one occasion, I have misread things and ATop members have explained what I did not see giving me a different perspective. That is a good thing. At least I think so.

Bamafan...thanks for posting this. Think I need to watch this a few times.
If you are talking about the guy clapping on the botton left, I think it is for Brian since that is who he is looking at. Now me, I am clapping for that slow drop to the chaise.
