Re: The Crashed Car topic---the only car Adam talked about crashing up was his dad's Volvo when he was a teenager. I think if he were involved in any subsequent car accident,{POST IDOL} the whole world would know about it. Just think back to the "drunkin bar brawl incident in Finland." Couldn't put on the TV without hearing about it ad infinitum! Wasn't that Volvo his own? I remeber him saying that his first car was a Volvo Wagon. ??? Or maybe his dad also had a volvo? Hand me down from his Dad. Very common here. Kid's first car is parent's old car. In California, you pretty much have to have a car. Our mass transit is terrible, except for the San Francisco area.

Thanks. Thought there might be more to the story. Brian apparently followed closely Adam's career. When the Time For Miracles was released (2009), Brian wrote in his blog: "I have to say I was completely blown away … it’s truly sensational. In fact it’s so obviously a number one smash, any bookie would be mad to take bets on it. I am not kidding. I’m not easily moved to jelly by male vocalists … but Adam’s voice reaches out with sensitivity, depth, maturity, and awesome range and power which will make jaws drop all around the world. Its an awesome performance. No doubt about it. The world of Rock has a bright new star.”
Thank you! This is sort of coming back to me now. This is the kind of stuff I love, the little tidbits.

I've been collecting these little tidbits for six years. I'm not alone. So many of us here have tucked away, have placed in our memory and in our minds, the conversations, the interviews, the anecdotal evidence that, in its way, predicted how we knew Adam's fame would come. I remember Brian's remarks about TFM . . . couldn't wait for the song. I remember Adam's very candid remarks about his time in Germany - his loss of virginity on his 21st birthday - his 'coming of age' with friends that, today, remain loving and loyal to his dream and his heart.
I find I've too much to say about Adam. Too much I've learned from these tidbits, these interviews, these years-ago conversations from family, friends - and mostly, from Adam himself. Back when he was unprotected and unguarded. Most of the time I show up at the end of the day, when the information or history I have is already out there.
His is an amazing story. Mostly because of its honesty. That's what drew me to Adam. IMO he's a 'show me your dick' kind of person. He'll accept whatever, whoever, you are. Just be honest. I believe this. I hope I"m right, because it's the foundation upon which I build my temple of Adam; really, the temple of me. I now look honesty in the eye. Be your truth; and we'll go from there.
