I love that gimme love video. He's so funny and laugh a lot. "Hellooooo are you sleeping?"  But I don't think it's a Chevron hat the color's different. That guy hat's the color of German flag, Black, Red and Gold. Opps

I just read the first page.. though I don't understand the language on some of the review, I'm giving them a click.

I remember that performance by Pink. At the time I saw it I was blown away by the visual staging. Breathtaking. Inventive. Impressive. Well sung. At the end of the clip when she turns her back it looks like a control pack for the mic, so I am assuming it was sung live.
I don't see a direct comparison to what Adam did, tho'. What Pink did gymnastically was in a totally different league from what Adam did. At the same time, what Adam sang, and how he sang it was in a totally different league from Pink. Hers was a gentle ballad with limited range and emotional intensity. TSMGO is a huge, operatic number with a very challenging range and melody line, and a powerful emotional punch.
Adam could never do the aerobatics of Pink, even without singing a note. Pink could never do the vocal aerobatics of Adam, even while standing perfectly still. Both performances are masterpieces...... at doing different things.

........ If we could search all corners of the planet I do believe we can find this person and we don't have to go too far. This person's here in the US. Look what she did from 4:00 up in the air not only holding one note but she did sing part of the song in the almost up side down position.
...... Pink's performance was mesmerizing. Yet I didn't notice any power belting at around 4:00 mark... and certainly not in the process of "folding backwards"... Singing while lying down or even with one's upper body lowered is somewhat common in the opera world (it is hard to die standing up  ) but usually they get into that position and then sing... Adam went for a major league belt, then decided to "fall backwards" and did not change the sound one bit! THAT WHAT WAS SO MIND BLOWING in TSMGO! |

Huge P!nk fan here! Her entire show is live. No backing tracks and great back up singers. Her Funhouse album is my #1 Pop album, so far. Trespassing is a very, very close #2! That being said, she does not have the range Adam has. But she doesn't need it! Only comparison is that they are both incredible! Love their spirits too and their "Yup, this is me!" Attitudes! ❤️ |
