Well well . The Lady can certainly sing. That she can. I was worried, because The Sound of Music is one of my favorite movies of all time and I was hoping she would not rearrange that classic music. She was great and I loved it!

Bravo to John Legend/Common... and Gaga.... Amazingly brilliant performances!
Read John's bio....during the zillion commercials. A lot of depth to that man.

Just commenting on a couple of subjects... Lady Gaga - we knew she could sing , but wow!
The plaid pants have a certain whimsy and fun that can never be achieved by plain black.

I would like the designer of the red tartan plaid pants to honor design principles when working with plaids. The #1 rule is that plaids are matched at the seams, assuming they're working with quality material that is on grain. Adam usually wears designer clothes and it is not unreasonable to expect correct material layout and construction for the price he pays. Now if he purchased this off the rack at Burlington Coat Factory, then Adam needs a lesson before he becomes a designer. Please no need to attack me on this issue - right is right and wrong is wrong. I will still love Adam no matter what he wears. As a sewer taught be a very fine seamstress, I feel your pain. However, That discussion was held when the pants first appeared on the tour. We were informed that they are plaid not tartan and that the plaid is deliberately not matched so as to not make the wearer look wide. YMMV. From my quick searches online, I'm finding pretty much this: "Plaid is the American and Canadian English word for Tartan, a pattern consisting of crossed horizontal and vertical bands in two or more colors in woven cloth." "Tartan is often called plaid in North America, but in Scotland, a plaid is a tartan cloth slung over the shoulder as a kilt accessory, or a plain ordinary blanket such as one would have on a bed." As far as I know, the pattern should always match at seems. Learned that when I was a kid learning to sew. It's hard to imagine unmatched patterns being a trend. Who knows?

I am very impressed with Mr. Graham Moore's speech after winning Best Adapted Screenplay for The Imitation Game. Michael Slezak @michaelslezaktv 5m5 minutes agoGraham Moore didn't just win an Oscar, he won the whole damn night. #StayWeird #StayDifferent #ItLegitGetsBetter

BRAVO GAGA !!! I'm liking this new Gaga. That was awesome! Love Julie Andrews and she really looks great too. I loved Gaga's performance too - WOW! And Julie Andrews 4-octave voice in the Sound of Musics clips - WOW! Forget sometimes just how great both of these ladies can sing! OK, yea John Legend is good. But there is just something about his voice that makes me cringe - sounds like he is straining sometimes.

Good for her. Versatility. Longevity. Wonder if AFL will tweet about the performance.
I must have seen that movie ten times. Julie Andrews is a class act.

That was Gaga's voice as we've never heard it. Lots of head voice and quite different from her recordings with Tony B., and classical-style articulation. I thought it was chameleon-like. Hmmmmm.
