Thanks Q for the definitive view on "house" music. I liked it all but the Sam Smith song, just didn't like it, too choppy.
Also the "light and shade" overview was interesting. Adam doesn't have that grit and harsness, and sometimes angst in his voice like Freddie. I also thought that that was what the reviewer was referring to when he said Adam didn't have quite the range.
Very interesting!
also craazyforadam: loved your post, and I think you are right. and momtomany: I agree there was way to much time spent on this, especially in view of the stellar day it has been in Adamland. eta to add I love your new AVI!!!
just witnessed/heard that KILLER concert, then Adam hanging with the head dude at Warner, and looking damn fine and in the spotlight at the Brit Awards. It's a beautiful day to be an AFL fan! Let's celebrate!

I'm probably in the minority here, but why on earth do fans think they should have been saying *anything* to Monte? Over the last few days I saw someone trying to bury the hatchet with someone they used to have a very long working (and personal) relationship with. Then that person's fanbase says nasty things in response. Now, I *totally* disagree with how Monte handled it (and yeah, I think he may have been under the influence and shouldn't have been near social media). But why the hell were people poking Monte in the first place? What happened between Monte and Adam is between them. Both are grown men. Adam doesn't need external help in deciding how he should deal with people who *he* knows personally and we *do not*. Particularly if one or both parties are seeing if water can go under the proverbial bridge. That twitter shit that went down last night was completely unnecessary. If the fandom wants to gossip about things amongst itself - fine. But to start taking public potshots at the people in question and then wondering about the response is like kicking a hornets nest and getting shocked...SHOCKED that the hornets come out stinging. I personally think that anyone that RTed Monte and/or Adam over what started off a complementary gesture is an idiot and helped make everyone - the fandom and Monte both - look stupid. And how does that help anything? #rhetorical #washopingEra3wasgoingtostartonarelaxedbasis Did you read his feed? Because before his rant there were only a few tweets to him harassing him. None came even close to warranting his vile replies! And he was @ing Adam and even Queen?! The man went over the edge & far beyond anything anyone can get excused for. Who is burying the hatchet? Adam? I haven't seen Adam reply to any Monte tweets. I have however seen Adam ignore Monte. When Adam publicly says "Bridges burned" I have to believe he means it! No excuses for Monte. No reason for his disgusting rant. The beauty of Twitter is that you can ignore, unfollow, or block people. He chose to go off on Adam's fans in the most disgusting display I have seen on Twitter! I just want to add a DITTO to PattyHum's comment. I have never seen anyone be so vile on Twitter with no apparent cause. >> And many Adam fans funded his last album via Kickstarter. I don't get it. It was like he was disappointed Adam fan's ignored him vs. anyone harassing him. I do not recommend read his vile spew -- no one's life is better for reading this stuff. Personally, I wish I had some brain bleach.

Just curious seeing most of TOH promo has been UK based right now. Mostly because he is based their right now. Do you think its possible he may perform his lead single in the UK? Or well it just be America. As his bio says world wide. Not implying he jump to NZ and perform on well we have nothing over here haha. April 10th seems like a good single launch, may single released online. May get a spot on SNL. I don't know just thinking out loud. His career is looking so bright right now, brighter then its ever been.

Yeah I noticed that too, and am soooo relieved!!! He is such a diplomat! But he also said there there ARE some collaborations on TOH. So wonder who?? Hope there are some great instrumental collaborations! I am betting on Nile Rodgers.

JMO If the ranting and raving was related to some past incident between the two men, can't see how it relates to the awesome QAL concert. But to myself, it seems like a very unfortunate time to bring something negative up. Adam is at the pinnacle of his success and his career is taking off like a firework and the MP rant is something from the past. Yes, a lot of Adam's fans are mature persons who possess the means to support our artist, thru good and bad. Lets be honest, it isn't like planeloads of Glamberts descended upon the arena, most of us having sold or first born kids to have seen 1 or 2 shows, so I question why this and why now? I think MP is stinging over the lost association with the HOTTEST male artist on the planet. Enough to make a body go postal, cause there's no way for MP to insert himself into the conversation. Lets not feed the trollman, as under the bridge is missing one of it's residents. Truly believe we are better than this because the best is yet to come for the fandom. We need to organize our support, when Adam's music comes out soon.
