I'm one of those who recently joined Twitter so that Adam could get one more follower and now I'm kind of wondering what I should do with it. ??? It's silly really, but I never felt like I would need Twitter for anything. But then it feels stupid to not do anything with it now that I'm there. :  Then a jump into a totally different topic. I've noticed that Adam seems to appeal to many kind of people with hugely different tastes in music. So now I got this great idea; I definitely have to take my cd with me when I go to Easter dinner to my mom's and test the reactions there. My mom usually listens to jazz and blues so it will be interesting to see what her reaction will be. ;D |

Ugh! That damn Q102 Ultimate Idol poll keeps dropping.. I guess we only need to keep him ahead for 1 more day - looks like the new round will start Monday. Looking at the other pairings, there is a lot of voting against people rather than actually voting for your favorites going on. All the races are close and AFL actually has the largest lead - although it is still dropping lower each day.

Aloha ~ my nephew shares your B-Day (he's 12). I would tell him that all the NYD parades were for him! (he believed it up to a certain age!) Q3 ~ my guess for 2M is on (my birthday) 12/14, of 2011 @ 3pm - Pacific Time! What? They aren't? Just be glad you get parades  - the only thing that happens on my birthday is everyone's diet starting! You wouldn't believe how many times is has been forgotten (even my GRANDMOTHER missed it when I was around 11 or 12!) I think having it ON the holiday has to be better than the day after. |

20th November, 2011 at 8:11 pm Adam Time ... or in Euporean 24 hour clock version ...

Posting a question to Q3 or anyone with music business knowledge. I just read thru the Adam 2 thread and like everyone here I can't wait for more music. After noticing all the albums on i-tunes marked EXPLICIT I am curious as to who makes that determination. Many are available in two forms, and wouldn't that increase production costs? I also noticed an album photo of Beyonce that was so much like the Katie Perry cloud photo (little clothing). I so hope Adam is allowed to fulfill his vision with both music and all the supporting cover art, music videos, etc. Explicit Albums are based on the audio content, not the packaging. RIAA Parental Advisory labeling AKA "EXPLICIT" Walmart does not sell EXPLICIT albums and stocks the "clean" [edited] versions only. Most US retailers will not sell EXPLICIT albums to people under 17 years old. In most countries, anyone can buy these products. Here is complete detail on US Recording Industry labeling that all members including all major labels have agreed to: riaa.com/parentaladvisory.php?content_selector= Note: Retailers will not stock albums with explicit packaging. You can push the boundary of this very far. Katy Perry is actually not naked but is wearing just enough cloud cover. |

Your bday is same as Maria22's (uh oh, where did most of the extra smileys go?) Jojo, Twitter is a blast. Most people feel the same way you do going in and then it becomes a way of life. I've often said that it's a 24-hour-a-day party with my funniest, most brilliant friends from all over the world. You can jump in at any time and always have someone to talk to. If you just need to scream to the world because life is making you nuts, you can and there will be someone there to make you laugh and commiserate. Don't discount it before you've given it a try; I've formed wonderful relationships through Twitter (just like I have through MJ's, PF and Atop). Twitter can be extremely efficient though; I rarely get a chance to come here during my work day and am often several pages behind when I do, but I have an open Twitter window and can catch up on stuff in a couple of minutes if I have two extra minutes here and there. You learn a lot. You can flail in the moment and you obtain news in an instant. (Which you can also do here, but because updates are brought over from Twitter.) IMO, Atop/Twitter tandem are a stan's best friend. |
