Just be glad you get parades  - the only thing that happens on my birthday is everyone's diet starting! You wouldn't believe how many times is has been forgotten (even my GRANDMOTHER missed it when I was around 11 or 12!) I think having it ON the holiday has to be better than the day after. Ouch. Your GRANDMOTHER?  :-/ :( I'm sure she never forgot again!  Yes, my grandmother! She was pretty good after that. HUSBAND forgot the 2nd year after we were married - he has never forgotten again either! My FIL forgets every single year - he usually calls me in February sometime to appologize On the other hand, my MIL feels bad that I got such an awful date and always remembers and even gives me really great gifts! |

From the picture Adam tweeted the other day? Williamsburg is a neighborhood in Brooklyn that became very bohemian in the last 20 years or so - mostly because Manhattan became too expensive for struggling artists. Soho and surrounding areas became a center for multi-million dollar lofts and trendy upscale galleries and boutiques... Bohemia fled to Williamsburg... So, I am not surprised that Raja would be there... |
