We need a close contact person who can get in touch with Bamafan and discuss this (and to also impliment it). I know it seems odd, but not everyone would like it. I will send a PM to Needacoke and see what she thinks. ITA. Mayumi and I've just been on the phone discussing what might be appropriate to help bamafan. She's going to make some calls as soon as she gets home (she was on her way). I called bamafan's cell phone and was able to leave a message. I told her that we're all thinking about her and the family and that she's in our thoughts and prayers. Also asked if she would call when she's able. My family experienced Hurricane Charley several years ago, and you're not able to charge your cell phone with no electricity and most likely cell towers were destroyed. I'm sure she'll call one of us as soon as she can, and we can find out if there is anything we can do to help. I'm sure right now they are just numb. If we hear from her, we'll let everyone know, but for now, I think it would be best if we wait until we can talk to her. mangokat - did mayumi talk to bamafan? One thing I will do for sure is go home from Atlanta through Birmingham and stop by bamafan's house in Cullman. Have no idea when that will be though.

uH OH, James fans slamming Adam for having an opinion. twitter all a flutter. I don't blame James' fans. Adam has a lot of pull, and I don't think he saw James performance last night. I love Haley also, but James blew me away last night with his performance especially at the beginning of his song when he sang acappella. I had goosebumps. James had an excellent performance last night. One of the best of anyone, all season long, IMO. However, he has been flat or off pitch every single song this season and the judges have never called him otu on it, so I think Adam's opinion is perfect. Many, many ex-idols are blogging and being guest recappers on quite a view Idol news sites, and they are all giving honest opinions. I think Adam can too. I didn't bring it over here, but Michael Johns criticized Adam's voice in his critique of James this week. Everyone has their opinions.

She was going to try and call you, but she wasn't sure she had your cell number. If you don't have Mayumi's number, PM me and I'll get it to you so the two of you can talk. Glad you and bama are fine. Though it's terrifying to go through, all the material things can be replaced as long as you and your loved one's are not hurt.

needacoke, thanks for checking in. Lucky your daughter lives so close. Do you know if bamafan has anyone she can stay with? The things one doesn't think about, huh? Like no phone charger and probably no store to go buy a new one?! I assume she has a charger - just no power to plug in into. Don't know about bama's mustang - maybe it was in the garage and not damaged. Have no idea. She keeps kept the Jeep SUV parked outside in the back of the house. I know her husband has a motorcycle. Gas is a HUGE problem. No power - no gas. Bama's Adam collection is on the first floor so maybe damage from the roof being ripped off was mainly on the second floor. She'll need therapy if that stuff was damaged. NeedacokeGlad you're safe and have a temporary home. Thanks for relaying bamafans' info. I'm not close & I don't have her number, but I met her, Babs12, mangokat, mayumi & Q3 in Knoxville last summer. I'll be waiting to hear whether she would like help. Perhaps a CARE package of batteries??? With gas hard to come by, that motorcycle might come in handy. How many miles do they get to a gallon?

Access Hollywood just showed "a goatee Adam Lambert" at the ASCAP award. Only like half a second though, but hey, at least they showed him, right!

Wanted to see Ru Paul drag race after seeing all the conversations here, so I've been having a drag race marathon all evening. I love it. It's very addictive program. I've already four times decided that since it's very late this is going to be the last episode for now, but I think I'm going to watch just one more ;D Had also interesting conversation this evening. I was watching and hubby comes to see what I'm doing and asks right away. "Is that Ru Paul?" "Yes, how did you know?" "There is her CD from the nineties in our bookshelf." "Really wow." Then he gives me this link to a youtube video. www.youtube.com/watch?v=CtO_jSbNN6IAnother program I've been watching now is AI season 8 ;D I started that a few days ago. Although I have to admit I couldn't wait to see all Adam parts so I fast forwarded all the episodes. I was surprised how young he seems compared to now. By the way the beard conversation has landed into Finnish media too. ;D
