I CAN WHISTLE I CAN WHISTLE  There are people who can't whistle? I always assumed that it is something that everybody just learns somewhere along the way. The things I learn here  My dad taught me how to whistle and my mom taught me how to skip.
I can only whistle one way. I never learned the two finger whistle.
And, I can't carry a tune when I whistle or when I sing.

Well, I guess I too am in support of her not being too harsh to Adam's fans who tweet her (because she responds to them) if that's what you mean. I'm not in awe of it particularly, though - seems like common sense to me, but, whatever. Hell, I guess the last thing this world needs is any more people being denied cake so, count me in. There in a nutshell (the bolded part of your comment) is where the problem is IMO. Common sense is sorely lacking in many of the tweets directed towards Shosh. I shake my head constantly. I can't imagine the patience it requires to respond in the measured way she usually does. Common sense seems to have gone the way of the dinosaurs..... in RL and online. YMMV. Okay. It is very possible that I have not seen the most egregious examples of what you are talking about, or I have and don't find them as egregious for whatever reasons. |

I said many lacked common sense, not that they were egregious. Common sense by definition is a basic ability to perceive, understand, and judge things, which is shared by ("common to") nearly all people, and can be reasonably expected of nearly all people without any need for debate. IMO common sense just doesn't seem to be that common anymore. |
