great job, Sherzie! You can do YouTube - play the new video about once an hour! If I may- is there a reason you can't stream? like your internet usage at home is limited? If not : - get set up on Twitter - it is fun! You can then retweet and/or tweet with the crucial "#GhostTown #NowPlaying #TheOriginalHigh @adamlambert" text and also think of Spotify and Rdio! Why not? It is very easy to keep streaming, you can mute! I can't think of anything else...may be voting on all those radio stations polls... Thanks, Nica! Yup, I'll definitely play the new video! I have way more internet usage than I ever use -- must think about setting up a Twitter account and at least using it to retweet important stuff. A question about using something like Spotify: does it cost much to use it? (I have NO CLUE on this stuff.... ) I'm not sure if it counts towards anything, but you could also stream Adam's soundcloud. The repeat button is at the bottom next to the song counter and looks like a circle with arrows. soundcloud.com/adamofficial/ghost-town?utm_source=soundcloud&utm_campaign=share&utm_medium

mszue wrote: Lovely comment, mszue. Something I'm sure we would all appreciate people taking into consideration when they think about us. Because we don't always know others' crosses or paths, I love this quote: I'm listening to "To Kill A Mockingbird," and it is amazing to me how well it holds up through the years. Along those same lines you reminded me of this also: This old article shows some of what George Michael was carrying. George Michael An Exclusive Interview
And thanks to Rihannasu for posting the Frank Sinatra letter, that's what started me on some early morning caffeine fueled musings.

Thanks nic42 for posting the link to the ENow article. I almost missed it. www.etonline.com/music/163534_adam_lambert_7_quotes_to_get_you_excited_about_his_et_takeover/Liked this: On relationships: "I don't know what the hell I'm looking for, to be honest with you. I think that's the beauty of getting into your 30s and kind of being like, 'I'm OK with not knowing.' I'm not sure. Maybe when I find it, I'll know it, I guess? But this album is a lot about that. It's about longing and it's about questioning things and wondering, also acceptance. That's another big part of it, kind of saying 'OK, so I'm single. OK, so I'm alone tonight. OK, so it's not gonna feel the same way every time. That's OK.' and this: On the "Ghost Town" music video: "I really wanted to first communicate the lyrics directly to the viewer, but then I also wanted to kind of highlight a scene of people. A lot of the people that we hired for the video are friends of mine. It was really fun on set. It was kind of a party, which made it a very relaxed shoot. I've never shot a video like that before that felt like a house party. I invited people to be a part of it that have a specific point of view. there's dancers in the video, there's models, just people with a certain energy that represent real parts of my life, 'cause I wanted it to feel like a piece of me."

Red Panda...."To Kill A Mockingbird" is one of my all time favorite movies. Gregory Peck brought so much quite/poignant emotion to the movie. He is one actor who took controversial and thought provoking rolls ("Gentleman's Agreement" is one that comes to mind)...he seemed to have something to say by making certain movies. He reminds me of Adam in that a lot of his movies had something to contribute to the 'conscious' of the human condition as does some of Adam's music.

Feeling nostalgic and hoping there will be at least one ballad on the new album from one of the best interpretive singers ever, in my opinion: and adamrocks, here's another for you: (and with this one I'll stop the Harper Lee spamming, although there are lots more wonderful quotes from this book )

Just because... I couldn't resist looking at some Shazam numbers. I think those numbers should be pretty clean, since there has been not a lot of fan Shazaming (yet) that I know of. So I found 36,201 Shazams until now. That didn't seem to be a big number to me since the top Shazam hits in the US have something in the region of 1.000.000 - 2.000.000 Shazams. But I know it is not just about the numbers, Shazam has ways to determine whether something has the potential to be a hit. It is probably based on how many Shazams vs how many plays on the radio, or how fast the number of Shazams goes up or maybe even on the location. (Maybe somebody else has the time to really look into this? Or knows more than me?) Anyway: there is this nice webpage that identifies any Future Hits as detected by Shazam *drumroll* Ghost Town is on it for two countries! US: 5 (!)Australia: 15 (the other available countries are Italy, Germany, Spain, UK, France. Most of them just give a top 10, so it might be there somewhere, but below top 10) www.shazam.com/charts/future-hits/united-statesShazam can be used by radio program directors and consultants to find hits. In the US it has very little value for a song that is being played on the radio like "Ghost Town". We have PPM ratings in the US for over 90% of radio markets (PPM = personal meters that monitor the exact listening of a representative sample of radio listeners.)

It is a small thing in a small market -- but WAKS-FM Cleveland (Akron, OH's Top 40 station which actually operates out of a Cleveland suburb) is playing "Ghost Town". They have played it 6 times now!! It is one of two KISS format Top 40 stations owned by iHeartMedia in the Cleveland-Akron area. I listen to the other station usually -- Q104 (KQAL) -- with name like Q it is hard to switch but I'm gonna til they play ADAM!
