I wanted to pop on to say that I have to admit, GT is growing on me a bit. Still wish the song was more like the verses and less about the disco cowboy moments BUT I find myself playing it a bit more. I definitely think the sound/production is miles ahead of Trespassing....I have a feeling I'll still like FYE more given the nature of the nature of material....but it's definitely enjoyable But then it would just be a different song! And I have discovered........ (because I live in a world where I thought 'deep house' trend referred to the current high-profile epdemic of London basement renovations.) that your 'disco cowboy' moments are very Radio 1 here - and those are the bits that will get him played on Radio 1, if there is any hope at all. Nationalglampoon shamed me into listening to Radio 1 for the first time in 20 years.....only for Adam! But now I know why this song stands a chance - love it or hate it! (also meant for pattihum I believe) - Yes you are both correct - the disco cowboy is definitely better for radio play so I think absolutely it's good for that - Just my personal preferences...I'm a grumpy old rocker who likes my classic rock and music was much better in my day when I walked to school in a blizzard uphill both ways.... BUT in an interesting twist - I played it for my daughter who is a freshman in high school and she had similar thoughts to me! Her musical tastes are VERY varied - She loves classic stuff like Queen/Beatles. She loves emo rock like My Chemical Romance/Pierce The Veil, but she loves some pop stuff too like One Direction/Taylor Swift type stuff. But she listened and she said "I like it. I love the verses but I think the chorus bits or whatever are unneccessary" She loved QAL btw and loved seeing them live (although she actually hates the WATC run more than I do and that's saying something! LOL. Love opinionated teens)

I don't have Sirius/XM in my truck any more, but I think Z100 was on it and thus avilable nationwide, so maybe it would be okay? Yep sirius still plays Z100... thankfully. They never seemed to get Top 40 programming right when they did it themselves.

Once a day at the max. The mediabase request are less important than radio station pools. Do you mean polls?

Saw this on Twitter, RTd by Rihannsu, and tho it's not about Adam...it is about embracing and being grateful for "fame" and being a pop star. Of course, it makes me think of Adam, who I think is doing a wonderful job of embracing his "PopStar". It's a letter from Frank Sinatra to the LA Times in 1990 about George Michael. Some of you prob. have already seen it. Now, back to today's wait for ET and the GT music video!!! Sinatra had no idea the cross that George Michaels was having to haul about...I would like to think that if he had, he would have been considerably kinder and more thoughtful. Michaels was selling his very soul and being .... it took quite the toll.

Neon Trees was on the same bill with Adam in Wilkes-Barre PA 2012 concert. She was really very nice -- we got to meet her. She is a "real" Adam fan. You are confusing Neon Trees and Neon Hitch. Neon Trees is Tyler Glenn's band...... he tweeted Adam. Neon Hitch is a British singer/songwriter and she opened for Adam. Oh, duh! (Reminder - never post while working!)

When I told my DD (age 24) that Adam has a new single out she said: "awww, I am so happy for you!" and stopped there. No interest in checking it out at all. But I still hope that GT will blow up on the radio and it'll get to my kids from the "outside".
